I was getting tired of Wendy staring at me.
“If you have something to say, say it,” I turned to her and pinned her with what I hope was an authoritative glare.
Wendy wasn’t fazed and simply said, “Nothing.” Liar.
“Lying to your Luna is bad, Wendy. Are you going to set a bad example for the pups?” She made it a point to look very interested in the baskets full of food we had the kitchen prepare for our outing. Defeated, I turned away and looked back to walking towards the west wing.
“I heard he was still aroused afterwards!”
We stopped walking in unison, picking up the conversation of a group of servants from the open window on the third floor of the castle. Even though they were whispering, I heard them clearly.
“I heard she was begging him to come back and do more!” A shrill voice said with giddiness.
“Did anyone hear they broke a piece of furniture?” A male shifter’s voice questioned.
