“Luna, try this chocolate ganache!”
A spoon went flying into my mouth as I was mid-sentence. I closed my eyes to the taste and almost let out a very inappropriate moan. It was bittersweet and melted in my mouth. I looked down at Nancy, who was dressed in the cutest little chef outfit.
“It’s delicious, Chef Nancy.”
“I know!”
“Nancy!” A female chef with bright blue eyes and black hair tied up wagged her finger at Nancy. “Leave the Luna be!” Nancy stuck out her tongue and hopped down from her stool to run away.
“I’m gonna tell Daddy you wagged your finger at me!”
“Good luck with that!” Her mother yelled back at her and shook her head. “She’s normally so well-behaved. She’s trying to show off, just like her father.”
“Mrs. Watson—”
“Please call me Nora, Luna!” Nora, Nancy’s mother, was a chef in the kitchens. She was working along with the other chefs to make all kinds of snacks and desserts for the whole castle.
