chapter 6. exploring the artifact.

As he tried the new method of observing the spiritual qi, he was able to absorb this new spiritual and ancient qi. But after some time he stopped his cultivation and started exploring this barren world. As Xua Yan explored the barren world inside the artifact, he felt a sense of awe and wonder. The world was vast and empty, but there were different types of strange energies in the air that he couldn't quite explain. He could feel the qi flowing through his body, and he knew that there was something special about this place that he still was not able to understand.

As he walked, he found that the radius of the world was 500m. He reached the edge and beyond that point, he found that he was not able to go any further. He felt suffocated and as if something was tearing him apart. He realized that there was an energy barrier blocking his way, which he assumed was a form of protection or security measure. He couldn't understand why this barrier was in place, but he knew that it was important to respect it.

Xua Yan decided to explore the area within the barrier of the world. As he walked, he came across a pond in the centre of the world. The pond had a radius of 25m and was filled with intense liquid spiritual qi. He knew that this was highly nourishing for his body and mind, so he decided to drink from the pond. As soon as he did, he felt his fatigue disappear and was given a burst of energy that made him feel relaxed and fully energised. He felt rejuvenated and refreshed, as if he had just woken up from a deep sleep.

Xua Yan was intrigued by the tree near the pond, bearing fruit. He approached the tree and saw that it had a kind of strange and exotic fruit growing on it, unlike anything he had ever seen before. He reached out to pluck one of the fruits, but as soon as he touched it, he felt a jolt of energy run through his body. He quickly realized that these fruits were not meant for him to consume, but rather to be used for other purposes, possibly related to some rule from this place.

As he looked around, he noticed a stone table beneath the tree. On the table, there was an egg and three books floating in the air above it. Xua Yan was fascinated by the floating books and eggs. He was able to understand the purpose of those books but not able to understand the purpose of the egg so he decided to take a closer look at the egg and noticed that it was glowing with a strange energy. He reached out with his hand and tried to move it, but as soon as he did, the egg automatically floated back to its place. He again became amazed by this and focused his attention towards the 3 books in hope of understanding more about this artifact and its purpose.

As he took a closer look at the floating books he found out that all the three books were glowing with a strange light that was hardly visible. He doesn't know what will happen when he touches those books, that's why he decided to take a closer look at all the books before touching them. As he took a closer look he got disappointed because he was not able to understand the language written on those books. But even though he thought that he was not going to understand anything from those books he decided to touch them.

As Xua Yan reached for the first book, he found that his hand passed through it. He paused for a moment, thinking about what could be causing this. He remembered the new martial arts technique he had learned earlier that day, that had been effective in absorbing the spiritual qi from the world inside the artifact. He decided to try using this technique again and started circulating it as he reached for the book. This time, he was able to touch it and as soon as he did, the book transformed into a stream of light that entered between his eyebrows. The light seemed to be merging with his mind and he felt an overwhelming sense of knowledge and information entering his mind.

At first he was not able to understand what this knowledge was all about. When he closely started observing it he found out that the name of the book was the essence of martial arts. This book contained the history, usage, and detailed instructions about all the paths of martial arts. He had a feeling that he didn't need to understand the complete book right now, but that it would become useful as he progressed on his martial path. With this in mind, he decided to study the book in his free time and take a look at the two other books that were on the table. He was curious to see what other knowledge and information he would be able to gain from these ancient books. He knew that these books would be crucial in his journey to become stronger and survive in this brutal world where strength was everything.

As Xua Yan reached out to touch the second floating book, he felt the vast knowledge about herbs and pill making flow into his consciousness. He had a feeling that this book would contain valuable information on the subject of herbs and pill making. Xua Yan knew that in order to survive in this ancient martial world he needed to master various paths of life, and he felt that this book would be a valuable resource in his journey. As soon as he touched the book, it became a stream of light and entered his consciousness, providing him with vast knowledge on the subject of essence extraction and pill making.

Xua Yan felt a bit overwhelmed as he tried to process all the new information that was now available to him. By looking into the information he was able to see the name of that book. The book was named "essence extraction and art of pill making," it contained detailed information on the properties and uses of various herbs, as well as instructions on how to extract their essences and make different types of pills. Xua Yan knew that this knowledge would be extremely valuable to him as he travelled through this brutal world, where the ability to make healing pills could mean the difference between life and death. He knew that it would take time to fully understand and absorb all the knowledge contained within this book. So, he decided to study this book in his free time and take a look at the last remaining book.

As Xua Yan reached out to touch the final floating book, he noticed that its name was "Understanding Creation and Arts of Gathering Qi." This book contained detailed information about the cultivation method that Xua Yan had just learned through the artifact. As he began to absorb the knowledge from the book, he felt that there was still more information locked within his mind. He understood that as he continued to progress on his martial path and grew stronger, the knowledge from this book would gradually be unlocked. However, he also knew that he would need to put in manual effort in order to fully understand and unlock the remaining information from this book.

As he delved deeper into the book, Xua Yan learned about the principles of gathering qi from the world around him. He learned about the different types of qi and how to extract them from various sources such as the air, the earth, and even the food he ate. He also learned about the different methods of gathering qi, including breathing techniques, meditation, and visualisation.

The book also contained information about the different paths of martial arts and how they were related to gathering qi. Xua Yan learned that each path had its own unique way of gathering and utilizing qi, and that by mastering one path, he could gain a better understanding of the others. He also learned that there were certain paths that were more suited to certain individuals depending on their natural abilities and inclinations.

As he continued to read and absorb the knowledge from the book, Xua Yan felt a sense of excitement and anticipation. He knew that by mastering the arts of gathering qi, he would be able to take his martial arts to the extreme level and become a truly powerful warrior.

As he delved deeper into the books, he found that they were filled with intricate and complex knowledge that he had never encountered before. He spent hours upon hours reading and rereading the text, trying to grasp even the smallest of details. Despite the overwhelming amount of information, he was determined to understand it all. He took notes, made diagrams, and even created mental models to help him visualize the concepts he was reading about.

The book on understanding creation and the art of gathering qi was the most mysterious of all. It described cultivation methods that Xua Yan had never heard of before, and he could feel that the knowledge contained in the book was far beyond his current level of understanding. He knew that it would take him a long time to unlock the secrets of this book, but he was determined to do so.

As he closed the books and looked around, Xua Yan realized that he had lost track of time. But even after a lot of effort he had a feeling that he had just learned a tiny fraction from these books. But he was able to take a breath of relief because he was able to make progress in understanding his cultivation method and had a more detailed and better understanding from before. As for pill making and and understanding of martial arts, he decided to go slowly and contemplate over time for those books.

As Xua Yan finishes his contemplation of the books, he decides to explore the space inside the artifact more thoroughly. He searches for any way to get out of the artifact but is unable to find any. Frustrated, he makes his way back to the tree near the pond, sits down and begins to think of different methods to escape. After much thought and contemplation, he has an epiphany and decides to try something different. He closes his eyes and focuses on the thought of being outside the artifact, visualising himself standing outside in the real world. As he holds onto this thought, he suddenly feels a strange sensation and when he opens his eyes, he finds himself standing outside of the artifact. Xua Yan was amazed by this discovery, as he had never thought that this would be possible. He decides to try it again, this time focusing on the thought of getting back into the artifact. Once again, he feels that strange sensation and when he opens his eyes, he finds himself back inside the artifact. He starts to experiment with different thoughts and finds that he can enter and exit the artefact at will by just thinking about it.

As Xua Yan stepped out of the artifact, he was greeted by the cool night air. The sky was dark and filled with stars, the moon was high in the sky, casting a pale light over the surrounding area. He looked around, taking in his surroundings, and found that everything seemed normal to him. The trees were standing tall, the grass was swaying in the breeze, and the sound of crickets chirping could be heard in the distance. It was as if he had never been inside the artifact at all. But he knew that was not the case, as the experience had been etched into his mind forever.

As he stood there, taking in the peacefulness of the night, he couldn't help but wonder about what he had experienced today. And after that he realized that he needed to make a fire to keep himself warm and started to look for wood. As he walked around he found a spot where he had made a fire before he entered the artifact, but the strange thing was that the wood was still burning there. He was surprised and couldn't understand how it was possible. He had been inside for what felt like days, but had only been a few hours in the outside world. After a lot of contemplation and thinking he came to the conclusion that maybe the time inside the artifact works differently than the outside world. And according to his calculations time, 15 days inside the artifact is equal to 1 day in the outside world. He couldn't help but be amazed by the difference in time between the artifact and the real world. He knew that he had a lot to learn and understand about the artifact, and he was determined to uncover its secrets.
