Pathy nodded in approval. "I knew you would handle things properly and not give Mellisa a hard time. I'll be depositing my payment in your company account."

"Thank you Ma'am," Jason replied. He then turned to Mellisa and said, "Please be well, Ms Mellisa." With that, Jason and his team took their leave.

Pathy turned to Melissa with a concerned expression. "Mellisa, are you okay?" she asked.

Melissa sighed heavily. "I don't know," she said. "I know Zick is planning something big to get me back, and I'm really worried about my babies now."

Pathy gave her a small smile. "You don't have to be scared of that monster," she said reassuringly. "He won't do anything stupid for now, at least. I'm not sure what will happen later, but you need to stay strong to face men like him."

Melissa felt her stomach churning as she thought of all the terrible things Zick could do. She was relieved that her name had been cleared, but she was still scared of what he might be planning. "What if he succeeds in killing my babies?" she asked, her voice trembling.

"Melissa, you're pregnant right now," Pathy said. "Don't think too much about all these things. Go and take a rest."

Mellisa sighed. "I can't sleep now. I need to make your wedding dress, remember?"

"We can talk about the dress later," Pathy said. "I'll come back tomorrow and we can discuss it then. OK? Now go and rest."

"Thank you so much," Mellisa said, her voice filled with gratitude. "You understand me better than a stranger should. I'll go now."

"It's alright," Pathy said, turning to leave. "I'll take my leave too. Bye." With that, Pathy left, and Mellisa trudged upstairs to take a much-needed rest.

Tina stepped into the luxurious restaurant, her eyes scanning the room for the person she was supposed to meet. When her gaze fell upon him, she couldn't help but admire his tall, broad-shouldered frame and chiseled features. His piercing blue eyes seemed to see right through her, and his dark hair was tousled in a way that made it look effortlessly stylish. His confident grin made women weak at the knees, and she knew immediately that it was Zick Nadia.

Zick looked up at Tina with a frown as she sauntered towards him and took a seat. "If Maxwell wasn't so handsome, I would have definitely fallen in love with you," she said with a sarcastic tone.

"Unfortunately, he's good at everything and I'm not," Zick replied with a hint of disapproval.

"Forget about all that," Tina said, her face lighting up with a plan. "I have a solid plan to separate those two before they have a chance to fall too deep in love with each other."

Zick's frown deepened. "I have a plan to blackmail Mellisa too," he said. "If our plans are successful, we'll both get what we want. What's your plan?"

The two discussed their plans and agreed to combine them into one. With a newfound determination, they set out to make their plan a reality.

Tina sighed as she said, "We will meet at the hotel later. I know what we are doing is wrong, but it's the only way to get what we both want." She was willing to do anything to make Maxwell hers, even if it meant carrying another man's child.

"I understand," Zick replied, pulling out a tiny camera from his pocket. "This camera will help you to record either Shina or Michelle - just make sure you don't get caught, okay?"

Tina took the camera and put it in her bag. "Don't worry, the job will be done today. Let's just hope our plan works out this time," she said, before adding, "Bye, have a nice day. I'm off."

Zick stood up from his chair and the two of them left, with him offering to drop her off on the way.

Despite the gravity of what they were going to do , it was clear that both of them were aware of the wrongness of their actions. Nevertheless, they were determined to go through with it, hoping that their plan would succeed.

It was already 3 PM when Maxwell arrived, and only the maids were in the dining room, so he headed upstairs to Mellisa's room. When he arrived, he found her sitting on the bed, seemingly lost in her own world.

"Mellisa," Maxwell called, walking toward the bed and sitting next to her. "Are you okay? I saw your interview on the news and I must say you did a really good job." He said with a proud smile.

Mellisa turned to face Maxwell. "I'm feeling very anxious that something big is going to happen," she said. "Zick is going to do something so unthinkable now that I have provoked him. He is not going to let me be happy here.

Maxwell took Mellisa's hand and said, "Mellisa, I'm with you. I promise you I will never allow Zick to do anything to you. I want you to know that I have fallen in love with you. I know you don't believe me because I didn't tell you early enough and I know you don't feel the same way about me, but I know this feeling I have for you is love because I've never felt this for anyone, not even Tina. I can't spend a day without seeing your face and this happens when you are in love. I'm not going to let go of you ever."

Mellisa blinked at Maxwell, feeling a flurry of butterflies in her stomach. She was so conflicted by Maxwell's words that she didn't know what to say. "I–I," she began, but no words came out.

Maxwell smiled as he spoke, "I understand, I'm not asking you to love me back, but I wanted you to know that I will do anything for you and I won't let anything happen to you." His words were filled with sincerity and love.

Mellisa was at a loss for words when Maxwell declared his love for her. She hugged him tightly, her voice shaking as she spoke. "Thank you for loving me and understanding. I'm not sure what it feels like to be in love, but I feel safe and happy when I'm with you. I'm not ready for a relationship yet, but we can still make this marriage work. I just want to be happy before Zick does something. Please help me forget all the bad memories and make beautiful ones instead."
