In no time, Melissa came out of the bathroom wearing a simple pair of jeans, a white shirt, and white sneakers. Her hair was let down, and she looked beautiful and youthful. "How do I look?" Melissa asked with a smile.
Maxwell tilted his head when he heard Melissa's voice, and his eyes fell on her. A smile built up on his lips. "You look beautiful as always," Maxwell said as he walked towards Melissa. "I will have to blindfold you now," Maxwell said, making Melissa pout her lips.
"Why? I don't like surprises. Just show me already," Melissa said.
Maxwell pulled Melissa towards him and hugged her from behind. "Trust me, baby doll. I'm not a serial killer. You will surely love my surprise, okay?" Maxwell whispered in Melissa's ear, sending an electric current through her spine. Her heart was beating so fast.
"I don't have a choice but to trust you," Melissa forced the words out of her mouth, trying to sound as normal as she could.
Maxwell smiled, he brought out a red fabric and covered Mellisa's eyes. "Come on let's go, baby doll." Maxwell said and the two of them left the apartment.
As he led her down a path lined with candles, she couldn't help but feel excited at what was to come. He had blindfolded her, and it added to the mystery and anticipation.
The rustling of leaves under their feet and the gentle sound of a nearby stream added to the ambiance. They came to a clearing, and when Maxwell removed the blindfold, Mellisa was astounded. Before her lay a beautifully set picnic. There was a checkered blanket on the ground with pillows strewn about, a basket filled with delicious food, and drinks chilling in a bucket.
Maxwell took Mellisa's hand and led her to the blanket, where they both sat down.
"How do you like my surprise?" Maxwell asked with a smile as he pour a juice for Melissa and for himself.
"I didn't know that you could be so romantic," Mellisa said as she took the glass of juices that was handed to her by Maxwell.
"Of course iam romantic. I have 29 years of experience and I will do the best out of it only for my baby doll." Maxwell said.
Mellisa's face flushed, "But I'm not romantic nor am I experienced in all these things,"
Maxwell smiled happily, how can he not be happy when he was the one who is going to take away her innocence and love her the way she deserves. "Don't worry, baby doll. As long as you are by my side, I will do anything for you.
They ate and they got lost in thier own world that they didn't realize that it was already evening. The stars began to twinkle in the midnight blue sky, reflecting off the gentle ripples of the lake. It was the most peaceful and serene setting, and they both lost themselves in the moment, enjoying each other's company.
As the night wore on, Maxwell and Mellisa slow danced to their favorite songs, their bodies close together as they swayed beneath the branches of the pine tree. The light from the stars and distant city lights were the only illumination, casting a romantic glow upon them.
With the moon full overhead, Maxwell took Mellisa by the hand and led them to the edge of the lake, where a small rowboat waited. They climbed in and rowed out to the center of the lake, where they could see the stars reflected in the perfectly still water.
Maxwell reached into his pocket and pulled out a small box. He looked deeply into Melissa's eyes. "Melissa, when I saw you for the first time in that fridge, my heart told me to do anything to save you from dying. The decision I took to save your life was the last thing I would have done if it was someone else, but when I saw you that day, I did what came to my mind." Maxwell said with a smile. "When you cried in Linda's arms, my heart ached a lot that I wished to take away all your pains and make it mine, but I knew I couldn't. That's why I decided to love you, take care of you, and give you everything you deserved in this lifetime. But even God wanted us to be together, and he granted my wish by giving us our precious babies. I'm sure now that I love you, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you please make me the happiest man in the worlds. Will you marry me?? "
Tears fell from Melissa's eyes as she nodded her head without saying a word. Maxwell slipped a ring onto her finger, filling Melissa's heart with joy. She had never felt so special and loved before. Her feelings were indescribable. Without hesitation, Melissa leaned in towards Maxwell, her heart beating fast in her chest. She had never been kissed by anyone other than him, let alone by someone as strikingly handsome as him.
As their lips met, Mellisa felt a rush of electricity course through her body. Maxwell's lips were soft and gentle, yet there was a passion behind them that left Mellisa breathless.
She wrapped her arms around M's neck, pulling him closer as their kiss deepened. Every nerve in her body was alive with sensation, and she couldn't help but think that this was the most wonderful moment of her life.
As the kiss ended, Mellisa opened her eyes to see Maxwell looking at her with an intense gaze. She blushed deeply, feeling immensely inexperienced compared to him.
Without wanting to miss the opportunity, Maxwell Maxwell leaned in, Mellisa's heart raced with anticipation. His lips were soft and warm as they pressed against hers once again , sending shivers down her spine. She melted into his embrace, feeling his hands caress her back as they deepened the kiss. It was a moment of pure bliss, and for a fleeting moment, nothing else in the world mattered except the two of them.
With the night still young, they rowed back to the shore, where they laid together on the blanket under the pine tree, wrapped in each other's arms, and drifted off to sleep, content and in love.
