[BL] Due to a rare condition, Vince’s end of the red string of fate is tied around his neck, while his soulmate's, Jack, is tied around his finger, like it’s supposed to be.

Theory says that if they "sleep" with someone that isn’t their soulmate, the string tightens on the other end, letting your soulmate know exactly what you are doing.
When Jack feels his string tightening, he feels heartbroken, and starts to sleep around with everybody as revenge, not knowing Vince was a victim of abuse.

When they finally meet, Vince is already suffocating.

Jack bites his lip, anxious under Theo’s stare. 


"I'm just glad we're making this work." 


"Me too." the older pats his back, cheerfully. "I missed seeing you smile like you've been doing today." 


Jack blushes but fails to stop himself from smiling again. 


“Whatever." he turns away, hiding from Theo’s eyes. 


"I'm going to the movies with Keith and Noah, do you wanna come?" 


"Alright then, but don’t push yourself too hard. And call me if you need anything, okay?" 


Jack nods and watches Theo leave his room. 


He stares at his phone and decides to call Vince. 


Jack smiles at the voice, always so sweet on his ears. 


 “I hope you didn’t get in trouble for being late.” 


'I didn’t! Thankfully Ethan helped me.'
