Colt drove Ruby home. There was so much information just given to her. None of it changed how he felt. She belonged to him.

Ruby sat lost in thought. She had spent most of her life bullied or shunned. Joey did his best to act as a shield, but she had her battles.

Now, here she was the last of her kind and sitting next to her was a man claiming to be her not just her mate, but her fated mate.

Colt pulled up to Ruby's, "I would like to come in with you."

Ruby faced him and couldn't help but smile, "You do?"

Colt leaned in, "Ruby... I will never make you do anything. If you want me to slow down I will, I may camp out here to guard you," he smiled tracing her cheek, "but never will I force you."

Ruby kissed him with all the need in her heart, "Please come in."
