Seelie gave Colt the file that the council collected on the dark Mage, "He had a son mixed in with the children Donovan saved. I think he tracked down your mother in hopes..." 


Ruby balled her hands into fists. Her mother would have put up a fight; and she wasn't going down with out one either. 


Colt read the file. His wolf roared with anger. 


Children were meant to be protected; this monster tortured them. He would not let this bastard's son start again. 


Seelie let a breath go, "I want you to know you will always be pack Ruby. We will always come if called." 


Ruby swallowed and nodded, "Thank you alpha. I think it would be safer though if I left. I would hate to think...." 


Ruby closed her eyes and pushed back the idea of any of the little ones from the pack being hurt. 


The old alpha let a tear fall, "You stay in touch Ruby. Especially with Joey and Beau. Those two love you...we all do." 


Colt took her hand, "I promise sir. She will always be safe with me."
