Mad Izana~

Thanks to Ran and his big mouth, he who dared to share the story with Izana, about how I was the sole reason for his transformation into a chick for a day, made Izana call me and demand my presence at his apartment this very morning. Yet before hanging up he warned me that it better be happening fast or else, I sure didn't like being threatened, but it also made me appreciate my choice of boyfriend better.

"Was this some kind of scheme on Ran's part, to get back at me for rejecting me?" Or was it just me overthinking this, because he sure gave me a whole lot of trouble to deal with.

"I guess I better start moving." Not because I was scared of him, but rather because I was worried that Kakucho would expose my secrets to his greatest king, but only if Izana even considered his subordinate having this kind of information. I had some hope in Kakucho to at least keep his mouth shut when he wasn't deliberately ordered to tell the tale.

So I took my motorcycle, the fastest way of transportation I owned, and drove off nearly right after.

When I knocked on the door to their apartment, it opened in record time, making me believe this guy was just sitting by the entrance awaiting my arrival, counting the seconds between my entry and his call.

"Michi, we need to talk!" Suddenly I felt like I was about to have an important conversation with a boyfriend I had been dating about for a couple of years and how he was about to dump me, I blinked in surprise, having no idea where this random thought appeared from.

"That's why I'm here in the first place," I noted as we moved to the couch and then the interrogation began.

"So you really changed Ran's gender?" He questioned as I nodded my head.

"Yep and since he spilled the beans there is no hiding it now... he told me the tale yesterday." It looked like something was bothering Izana.

"So it means the deal we made... you were serious about winning it?" He asked as I nodded my head in agreement.

"Yep," I answered truthfully.

"All this time I believed you set up the deal to lose it." I couldn't fault him for thinking that, since who in their right mind would trust someone when they declare they will resurrect their loved one?

"Why would you do that?" He seemed a little bit upset with me.

"What was I supposed to do otherwise? You refused to accept my rejection, was I presumed to let you go out and fight my new boyfriend? So you can solve it the way guys do, by strength? I don't want to see any of it... so fricking stupid."

"But don't girls usually want to date the strongest male?" Izana asked, he seemed quite confident it was a fact.

"Ummm no, we don't live in the hunting era... I don't need you to go out and hunt a deer for me because my life-hood depends on it.... nowadays women want partners that are smart... and with some cash to their name... if not that they at least need certain height requirements." Was I destroying his perception of the world?

"That's why you and Mikey are more popular with the guys."

"But the boyfriend you got is also all about fighting and he's the opposite of a talented student in school." He got me there, but wait how did Izana know this? Don't tell me he decided to stalk Keisuke too.

"He is emotionally intelligent... something you lack." I couldn't believe I said this right to his face. We stared at each other in silence, however since I already started this, I decided to go all out, so I stood up put my hand on my chest and I let my mouth run.

"You fool, you peasant, bow before me, because I'm the most admirable existence in this whole universe, you see yourself as king? Then I'm a god a more radiant entity than yourself." And silence engulfed us once more after I struck an awesome pose before Kakucho decided to peek out his head while mentioning.

"I told you Izana... she's even crazier than she lets on."

"Hey, how dare you slender my name like this? Just because I accepted you to be part of my family, you shouldn't suddenly change your stance and poke holes in the awesome image that I created!" It looked like Kakucho didn't know what to say.

"Also it's about time you accepted your fate, so I can call you big brother!" Once I listed all the things that could benefit him in some way once he joined the Hirabayashi clan, Izana let out.

"Are you trying to steal him away from me?" Such a bold claim indeed.

"I will force your brother Shin to let you live with them, so it's obvious I should offer a place to Kakucho as well." I nodded my head.

"So Izana, tell him to accept my offer, show me how wise you are." I basically begged him to place input on this topic, if Izana approved Kakucho wouldn't cling to this run-down apartment any longer.

"You really plan on bringing Shinichiro back?" I nodded my head and this was followed by a two-hour explanation of how this was feasible.

"So you're telling me, you will use your only wish on me?" Izana asked and he seemed touched by the gesture.

"You and the other Sano siblings, I know your life would be so more colorful with him around, so why the heck not? I have awesome parents, so many wonderful friends, you included and so much money I'm sometimes overwhelmed by the amount. So I could always use the wish to improve someone else life... of course, I'm still not sure if it's a possible feat, but I can try." I explained my thoughts.

"Could you actually prove to me... you know all the system things you were talking about?" The two things I could do right off the bat were breaking someone's bone and using the health potion to restore it, but that would be too cruel of a demonstration, next was the pixie dust, but perhaps Izana would think I staged this performance with Kakucho if I used it on him. So all that was left was to use the punishment wheel to prove a point. And as soon I thought about the possibility I received a mission.

'Would you rather kiss Izana Kurokawa or slap him?' It was as if the system was reading my mind and going along with the plan, giving me choices I merely would refuse.

"Don't blink, I won't be able to perform it a second time if you miss what's about to happen now." And so I took a deep breath and spun the punishment wheel that appeared nearly right after.

"Please don't let it be back pain, don't let it be back pain," I repeated like a chant, causing Izana to look at me concerned.

"What's so bad about a little bit of pain?"

"No this specific punishment is a trick, what actually happens is my boobs become three times my size, and I don't feel like having to deal with a ripped shirt, considering I have no change of clothes."

"I wish to see it," Izana disclosed as if he was taking pleasure in bullying me.

"No, no." I shook my head but then the arrow landed on a question mark.

"What is that supposed to mean?" And suddenly poof a transformation happened, and I quickly realized how my hair became longer?

"Wait..." I ran to the nearest mirror that was inside the bathroom and saw a face I haven't been able to witness for quite some time.

"So what's this punishment about exactly?" Izana asked tailing me.

"Oh, this? That's how I looked in my past life." I quickly explained, quite shocked, this was no punishment, besides the fact that no one would be able to recognize me

for the next twelve hours.

"So in case we chose to go on a date, no one will ever find out." Izana made it sound like he found a loophole.

"Weren't you turned off by my awesome personality that was cranked up to the fullest just a few hours ago?"  I asked while raising my brow.

"That easily can be overlooked." He

noted.

"No that won't work, even if we are the only two people knowing this, it's still cheating. You wouldn't want me to do it if I was dating you, would you?" I asked and he nodded.

"Then you should uphold those standards that you're expecting of other people." But we did end up hanging out as a trio, I took them out for some food once we made up, but received a lot of strange reactions from the Japanese people around me because currently, I looked like a foreigner.

Then at the end of the day the three of us somehow came across Keisuke, and looking down I understood this was the best opportunity for a prank. So I ran to his side while saying.

"Do you come here often, I'm sure I have seen you somewhere before." He stared at me while I was playing with my hair before he put his hand up admitting.

"Sorry I have a girlfriend." I was a little bit stunned as if part of me was expecting him to recognize me right off the bat, but before I could add anything more, Izana put his hand on my shoulder while conveying.

"Then I guess you won't mind if I take her on a date instead." Keisuke looked so confused as if he could feel that something was wrong, but couldn't put a finger on it.

"Sure?" So I collapsed to the floor, unlocking my acting skills.

"I'm sorry Keisuke, we can no longer be together, you don't even recognize your girlfriend, and then allow another guy to take her out on a date? Devastating." His eyes went wide, I guess my performance made him realize who he was truly dealing with.

"Michi? What's going on, why are you looking like this?"

"That's how I looked in my previous life, still the cutest girl you have seen, aren't I right? Answer me." I opened my eyes wide just an act to tease him further, it wasn't like I was mad for real.

"Sure sure... you two aren't scamming me, for all I know this could be a scheme to make me cheat on the real Michi, so she could break up with me..." He seemed a little bit suspicious, but such a conspiracy theory made me laugh.

"You have a wild imagination... however I don't think I would be mad in case you could prove their acting was exceptionally good. Unless they managed to fool you more than once."

"Noted." Izana let out as if he tried to make it sound like he would try his hands at this exact strategy.

"Wait... if you look like this, does it mean you explained everything to him?" Keisuke asked as I nodded my head.

"Yep, everything, there was no other option after Ran babbled out everything."

"So you're telling me you wouldn't have shared this news if it wasn't for him?" Izana again was getting fixated on the smallest most insignificant of things.

"I was just waiting for the right moment, which was bringing a dead person back home, it would be nearly required from me to explain how that happened right? It won't cut it to say I caught him when he fell from heaven exactly." The image I created in their heads gave them a chuckle.

So for the remaining part of this fine day, I got to hear stories of what those two would do if Shin would in fact come back to life, I just hoped this was possible. I didn't want to break their heart now when I let this idea settle into their minds.
