Chapter Fifty six

I made sure to fill Sunny teacher with enough information about her health. "In case of any emergency let me know right away" they had promise and ensure me it was their duty to take care of her.

I went to work and had Mandy fill me in with the latest detail and information. "It seems as if you've gone for ages but it's just a few days". " Really? I smiled I wanted to give Sunny a few days to relax". "I hope she's now okay". " yeah!

I ranked my head in designing the interior part of a bungalow. "I think this will suit perfectly fine this way," I said to no one in particular as I worked with my laptop. My phone rang jolting me out of my thoughts, I slide the answer button but kept my eyes fixed on the laptop.

 "Hey, Becca! I heard Emily called from the other end. "Hey, why are you calling me you should be busy preparing for your wedding" I scolded her playfully "Ummm that's the problem". " Tell me what's it". "I need you to escort me to the mall, I want to pick a few necessary things". 

 " Emily! I called rubbing my forehead. "I don't think I can make it, I'm busy with work right now". " please you don't have to refuse me, Aunt is not around and I can't ask dad to take me". I laughed "yeah, it awkward asking for his help with this". " I can imagine" I laughed even more.

 "Please I need your help don't say no, please!  " Emily I have a lot of work here". "But you can finish it when you come back, I won't waste more of your time. I promise". Emily!  " I can talk to Mandy if you want me to, just a few hours with your cousin sister". "Fine! I'll be there, just give me the address". " Thanks so much" she disconnected and I had to watch my phone for a while, she's really on my nerve and always know how to have her way. 

I smiled, minutes later I heard my phone beep, I turned the screen to see that she has already sent me the location. The mall here I come! I whispered before going to ask Mandy for a few hour's break, she didn't mind at all. I was thankful for having her by my side.

"So what are you buying". I asked her when we reached the mall  " I need to buy some flowers, ribbons, pins for my dress, she continued calling out till I was on the edge. "I thought you said few things".  " Actually it few not that much" she dragged me along with her to a different area of the mall asking for my opinion if it was necessary to buy this and that. "This is the final thing in the list, she grabbed a chocolate box. 

" I think chocolate will grow to have babies in your stomach" she stuck out her tongue at me, yeah! she's always childish "I love you even though, I stuck out mine and made a face at her.  I glance at my wristwatch. " Jeez! Emily, we spent three hours here, make the payment fast I'll be waiting outside.

I have to call Mandy and know if there was anything she'll like me to get for her. Just as I was about to step outside, I bumped into someone. 

"So sorry... I raised my head to apologize and my gaze met his " Sam! What was he doing here? "It's nice to meet you... Again" he smiled showing his perfectly white teeth, without talking to him I tried to walk past him and felt his strong hand on my arms. 

"Not so fast Becca! I flinch as he mentioned my name " let go of my hand" I tried to wriggle my hand away from his grip "Becca! Listen to me please". " I don't want to and I will never, so let me go unless I'm calling the security on you" my gaze met his, I had once love him so much that I took a risk for that love but now the only thing that is left within me is nothing more than my hatred for him. "Just give me a chance to explain".  " let go! I almost yelled losing my temper as his hand touched mine "I don't want to set my eyes on you and I won't appreciate you stalking me". I fumed in anger 

" I'm not asking for anything more just give me a day out of your time, I promise to stop stalking or speaking to you just hear me out".  

"What is he doing here" Emily emerged from the mall staring at him angrily. "Let go of my sister or else in calling the security on you". Sam stared at me for a while before releasing his grip. " please all I ask for is a day from you". 

"Am not giving you any" I brush past him. "If I see you anywhere near her again, you'll burn in hell" I heard Emily said to him before walking up to me. 

When we were out of sight my leg wobbled, my heart pounded loudly against my chest what could he possibly want?

"Becca! Emily called I didn't turn to look at her but walked a bit farther before finding a place to sit. My body trembled, what could that monster want from me, hey was he back and stalking me. I felt like stabbing him, gosh! I hate him so much that my blood boiled at the sight of him. Thank God that Sunny wasn't with me, I don't ever want her to set her eyes on him, the man who abandoned her. I would keep her safe from him. 

" Becca! I felt Emily hand on my back, she rubbed it gently, I think that help to calm me down a bit.  "I'm so sorry, she apologize when I finally start up at her. " it okay, it wasn't you fault, if you had known that he was here, you wouldn't gave brought me to this place" I smiled at her  "you're always making me emotional, she bent down and started her arm around me.
