Chapter Fifty nine

"You don't have any daughter" I spat. "Let's not play this the hard way, you had been with such years of her life, so I think now is my turn"  "I took the glass water on the table and emptied it on his face. 

" you don't have any daughter that you're going to take with you and... I stood up "I think we're done here". " you'll continue seeing me until you give in toy request". "Never and you made a promise to stop stalking me if I visit you". " I never kept my promise then to be with you, why now? 

 "You're a monster and I don't want to see you close to my daughter" I turn and walked out from the door without waiting for him to speak.

How dare he? After all this year's he came out of nowhere to take my daughter away from me, after suffering and getting expelled from school all because of him.

 He now wants to take away my joy, something that has kept me going all this while. He even abandons her and decided to pay me off so he won't lose any of his inheritance, giving away my child was the last thing on earth I will do.  

Reaching home I ran up to the room Sunny sleep, cuddling her in my hand. I can't let that monster take her after all these years she was my child and only my child.

 "How was the visit to Sunny father yesterday," Mandy asked the next day I came to work "He's not her father" I snapped. "Sorry I muttered " I understand" she placed her hand on my shoulder without asking more she knows that I wasn't in the mood to talk about him or the visit. "Look who's here" Mandy called and making m look up from what I was doing "Andrew! I saw Mandy hugged him leaving us. " how are you doing?

  I just stare up at him, how will I tell him my inside was raging, that I felt like hiding my daughter away so that monster won't take her away from me. How was I going to explain to him that I feel like crawling away from all those painful memories that came surfacing since I met Sam, I just want to forget every single thing and move in with my daughter but he saw back, he was back to take away my happiness which I would never allow.

 Suddenly I felt Andrew's hand wrap around me, without resisting. I lean into it and let him cuddle me for a while "how about we take some time out" I shook my head but still didn't move from his embrace. 

"Just for some minutes" hr pulled me away from him gently and stare softly into my eyes. 'you look tired and you need it". "But I still have work to do, I can't just leave Mandy to do all the work. " who said you're leaving me therein a lot of workers here and also you'll be back in few hours" their always strong-headed. 

"Okay, I'll go but if you need my help don't hesitate to call me" she nodded with a smile and allowed Andrew to lead me out "So where are we going". " it a surprise" I smiled but fighting the rage inside me to remain calm and not to remember the person that has always showered me with surprises. I shrugged and allow him to drive me to where ever God knows.

He drove to a stop and I turn to look around the stony path "where is this" I asked but glancing out through the window "somewhere you like to be" he car to the side of my door and slide it open letting me out. 

I stood for a while looking around my surroundings "come, he held out his hand for me to take. I raised my eyebrow at him funnily before taking his hand and allowed to lead me through the rocky ground. 

I stopped and look at him when I started hearing waterfall he smiled but kept pulling me gently to follow him, my mouth fell open as I stare ahead at the ocean.

 "Wow! This was the first time I was seeing a waterfall"  "Really? He asked glaring at me, I nodded and ran toward the water spreading my two hands in the air and allow the wind to wash over me when u turned to him I saw him smiling at me. " it beautiful". "Yeah it is" he motioned for me to come and sit beside him on the rock.

 "How do you feel now," he asked staring head in the ocean. "I feel calm now" I watch him nod his head, I looked down on his lap, it seems inviting "what! He asked without giving a second thought to my feelings I laid my head on his laps " That's unexpected"  "yeah I know". Leaning my head on his laps I listen to the sound of the waves. " Sam wants to take Sunny away".  "He doesn't have the right to". " I know... After all those years I've suffered to raise her up and now he wants to get back, that's the last thing I'll do, I want to take Sunny away, far from here di that he won't be able to see her or come close to her". "You can't run from him, he 'll always find a way to trace you down".  " Then what will I do". "Don't make a haste decision, just be patience till will know his next action". " what did you think' he will do, I can't allow him to take my child Andrew". "We'll fight, we won't allow him to take Sunny"  I hug him close and let my mind wander far away "

"What are you thinking," he asked stroking my hair "nothing in particular, I'm just calm". " Don't let the thought of him overwhelm you, just remember I'm always there for you if you ever need me" his word seems so calming but I can never hold up to it, I don't want another heartbreak.
