Chapter Two hundred

"I have never loved you Sunny, as you said, all this was a charade just go get you to trust me, I never wanted you but I'll also use you to get want I wanted and that was to get back at Rebecca and it works.

Not for a very long time though, I did everything just so you would never abandon me she Rebecca gets back but it backfired and Sam...your father had to blame all that on me.

What a terrible husband and father". "That's the reason you hurt him" Sunny said in disgust.

"Oh, not that bad I did not just shoot him and he's in a coma now, I know you're not feeling bad about it like??

"Why would I? You guys are birds with the same feather". She was not just about her shooting her husband, it just surprised her but the painful part is this was hearing from her that she had been used by this woman she had trusted before.

"You want to know the reason I shot him? Well that's because he was the one that did this to me" "We'll I'm not surprised"

"I don't expect you to be, we both knew he's a monster when I was too determined on getting you back on my own, your father tied me up for weeks by the bed.

He fed me once a day and sack half of the servant to keep his little secret and have one of the beds clean me up each day. I beg, got angry at him, stay silent everything just to make him change his mind and release me.

But nothing worked, I was trapped, beaten by him and at the end of last month, I finally convince the servant to set me free using you as an excuse.

"What do you mean you used me as an excuse". "So curious to know" she chuckled. Sunny pressed her lips together in silence, bracing herself on what she would head next.

"Well for weeks since he locked me up, he had been plotting silently how he was going to kidnap you when no one would be expecting since Rebecca had gone against him, he would do anything to have you...

Not because he loves you Sunny because he doesn't want her to win against him, you're like a tool or will I say a prize to be won not by h sides?

And when his plan had been all set just to avoid any necessary suspicion on him but unfortunately I got free..."

"And you shot him" Sunny completed. "Yeah, I thought would die, turn out he had some damn luck and survived".

"And the servant? Sunny asked. "What a poor soul, she came back to negotiate with me...she wanted me to set her free when I'm finally out but I can't keep up with such things so I had no other choices" Tara shrugged

Sunny just stare helplessly at her, she don't know if she expect him to feel bad for what Sam had done to her or say something but she was just glad that gives her a taste of her own medicine.

They both got what they deserve, he just wished that they had died.

"So you took from where Sam's had left, you kidnapped me instead, and now my mum is out there blaming it on me, and since he's in the coma... Theirs no way she could prove it"

"Such a smart kid" she smiled and finally stood up to leave. "What's your plan, Tara, let me out of here because goo don't want my mum to find out"

"She won't because theirs no way she would find out, have a nice day Sunny". She made to leave but Sunny couldn't her to walk away like that, she needed to leave.

"I regret the day, I called you mother, you don't deserve to be called one, you're a demon!! She yelled and then turned back to her Sunny saw that her expression had changed.

It wasn't the woman who had laughed or smiled few minutes, her expression was filled with rage and hatred.

"You'll regret ever saying that! She made to turn again but stopped and reached out for her back and brought out an inhaler "You'll need this because I don't want you to die on me, you're still useful". She tossed it to her and left without turning back this time.

One by one, she watched as both men left, and slowly she watched the door as it began to close but she scrambled up and went for it.

She didn't want to be left here, she needed to leave, to escape from this nightmare. "Let me out, please! Let me out of here, please!!

Tara made her way out of the sewer as Sunny screamed, she wanted her to feel the loneliness and pain she felt when she was left in that house.

She was going to keep her here as long as it would take, to get back at her as well as her mother and everyone who had looked down on her.

Emily watched as her sister paced in the living room, Rebecca had driven in an hour ago after checking with the police if there was any update on her daughter and also giving her a statement on what happened at Sam's place even though she didn't want to.

She had spent the whole day, making and receiving calls, checking on updates for her missing daughter.

Emily watched her receive the last call and got really thrilled afterward. "What's the news? Emily asked as she walked to her with a cup of coffee.

"Someone saw Tara when he was leaving this afternoon". "But? Emily asked "He followed but he, unfortunately, lost her". "How could that be possible?

"I don't know unless she suspects that someone was following her". "Did you believe that she has a hand in this, Sunny is like a daughter to her even though she's such a selfish woman"

"She's not only selfish but also heartless like her husband". "So you believe that she took Sunny". " Seeing her this morning, I knew something was wrong, something about her seems off and I'm ready to find out what that is...

Do you think, she'll just quit after we exposed her crime and Sunny left her, she must be involved somehow in this with her husband, I don't know how but I must find out the real truth here and save my daughter"

Rebecca forced herself to breathe, to think, that this was going to be over soon. She was finally going to see her daughter and get her out of any possible danger she might be in.

"Here, have some coffee, you look like you'll drop any minute...please Rebecca,  you have to be alive to see your daughter when she gets back to you".

Finally, Sunny collected the cup of coffee, she might as well drink it or have her sister worry sick about her.

Just as she lifted the cup to her lips, she felt strange severe pain in her making her drop the cup on the floor in an instant"

"Becca" she heard her sister call out to her but it seems like a distance away, "Becca can you hear me". She tried to reply but the pain was pulling, Emily made her sit down on the couch nearby and rushed to bring her some water.

Rebecca looked up to her sister when she finally came in holding a glass of water "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to spill the coffee".

"For goodness sake Becca, you shouldn't be worried about that now, we should take you to the hospital". "No, I'm fine, no need to go to the hospital".

She gently pushed her sister away, trying to fight the pain which had become to subside away. "You're not feeling fine, you need to be taken to the hospital" Emily persisted.

"For goodness sake Emily, it's just a minor headache I'm fine" she smiled correcting the glass of water her sister and gulping it down in some seconds.

"See, I'm fine now, no need to worry". She smiled, making herself comfortable on the couch. "I'll just rest here for some time". "Sure, I'll leave you to do that but call me if you need anything"

"You worry too much like mum". Just saying that aloud reminded her that she had not visited them for years just because of her father but she had kept in touch with her mother through emails and texts.

She saw her cousin's expression change. " You haven't visited her for quite some time now". "I still keep in touch with her"

"That's different you know that Becca, she hasn't met you in person". Becca sighed and shot her eyes, that's the lady thing she didn't want to think so now, not that she don't want to, it was just because it hurts thinking about it.

She misses her too but she still herself to visit her, when she opened back her eyes, Emily was already gone.

Where are you sunny?
