Suddenly she heard a noise outside and sat up hoping for food anytime soon, she couldn't wait to get something inside her stomach but the noise outside wasn't just a footstep, it felt as if a thousand people are approaching the door, what was happening...
"What in the world are you doing? " Oh, look who finally caught me" "What are you doing? " What does it look like I'm doing? Killing him of course...you should be helping me because I know you had thought about this a dozen times"
Rebecca stared from Tara to Sam who was laying in bed muttering some kind of help word, of course, he wanted to see him gone but not after she learned the truth.
"You should not overthink, I'm taking my revenge on him for hurting me and taking me hostage while you'll be getting your revenge for all he had done to you in the past". " If I'm going to take my revenge, then it going to be on both of you...
Rebecca slide out her gun and pointed at her "I'm here for the truth". " What truth, Rebecca, I've told you why I'm doing this..." She gestured at the already empty injection.
"What happened that night Tara, the night you got free from sam? What really happened?!! " I told you the truth, I don't know, I only saved myself that night and I don't know how...
"For goodness sake! Stop lying to me! You told me what happened but you didn't tell me all!
"What did you mean" Rebecca chuckled. "How about shooting the servant because she was the first person you can release your anger on and shooting Sam because you wanted your revenge and afterward you kidnapped my daughter and blame it on Sam because he's in a coma...he wouldn't be able to defend himself.
And also explain, why you planned on leaving for Canada three hours from now... " Well..." She paused for a while then threw both of her hands in the air. "I guess I had been caught" she confessed with a slight smile on her face.
"You monster! " You haven't heard the full story, Becca...
Sunny waited with a thudding heart as she watched the door pull open, she waited and expected for the worst but...and was the police and just then she saw Andrew standing behind them and stared frozen but happy expression.
"I'm finally saved! That was all she could think of, that was all her heart played on, she staggered toward him, forcing her feet to move and also fighting her body to stay up.
When he wrapped his arm around her, she couldn't help but try to tell him everything. " It was Tara, it was her, she was behind all of this!!
"It's fine, we know now and she isn't going to escape her punishment!
she felt saved, at home, and finally, she let herself burst out loud into tears. She had a lot to say, a lot to talk about, and a lot of questions to be asked but then noticed her mum wasn't there.
"Where's mum? " She has to take care of something...something that demands her attention or she would be here? She wanted to feel sad and hurt but for whatever reason, she wasn't here has to be something important, what if she was in danger?
Is she okay? Andrew nodded and pulled her away gently to look at her lean figure. "You're saved now and we're sorry for taking so long". "I'm saved now that should be the only thing that matter.
She allowed him to scoop her up gently and led her out of the sewer and fit the first time in weeks she ass able to breathe fresh air...she had survived in there despite her condition.
" Sunny" she heard her name and turned to see her aunt running toward her in tears, she let her wrapped her arm around her and showed her with kisses. "How I missed you! We're sorry for letting you stay this wrong".
" I'm saved now all thanks to you guys" she was in tears now as she hugged her aunt. "Thanks to your mum, Andrew, and John...". Sunny felt tired instantly, all she needed now was to go home.
" I missed home" Sunny stifled at her aunt's shoulder and we missed you...
"You are right, I killed the servant and shot him, you should be happy about that because you k he deserves it, and about the kidnapping, it was all his plan when I was held hostage by him and finally when I got out...
" You decided to take over from where he left out?!! "Yeah, sure...and you're even missing one point here? How did you think I know all of these? Where to find you, the information I needed?
That reminded her, how Jackson found out they were after him, she had only shared it with Andrew and her sister...what if...!!
The shock on her face made Tara smile, she was enjoying this! "From Miranda" for some minutes, she stood frozen with the gun still pointed at her. "She hated you for trying to take Andrew from her, she thinks he spends a lot of time with you and you're also the cause of her family's misunderstanding??
"How? When? Rebecca felt lost. " Before I was even held hostage, she came over for some help knowing I'm the only person that could get you to stay away from her husband if I do something to you...and she'll prepare for travel back afterward.
I figured out it was a time grudge..." Tara laughed enjoying every bit of her story which was the truth.
"And when I got released, she was the first person I called. " Miranda..." That was the only word Rebecca could mutter before pulling the trigger...
She remembered seeing her at Sunny's graduation...so innocent and beautiful...it was all just a farce to get to her!!
