Epilogue

Sunny had spent the last few days she had come home in her room or inside her drawings room, her mum had tried her best to get her out of the room but the past events let flashing in her head anytime she thinks of stepping out.

Fear had taken root in her mind and she had spent the rest of her time putting it down as a drawing. She had tried many times to push the fear out of her mind but that night kept hunting her, her mum had her by her side all of the time.

Talking to her, holding her gently, and soothing them at night when she had a bad dream. Jade and Gina had come to visit, they had even spent the night with her.

She felt bad seeing them in tears but where was Josh? Gina had told her that he had been blaming himself for her disappearance and had spent every day driving around the town and looking for her.

She felt hurt knowing he had been blaming himself because none of this was his fault, even if he had been there with her that night...he wouldn't be able to fight that man that took her away.

The man would have hurt him, she had been angry at him at first for not coming in time to save her but now she was grateful that he hadn't come because he would have only ended up being hurt.

She walked outside to her balcony and found herself admiring the view, she had missed all of this, the beauty and fresh breeze... She remembers being in that dark room, she had felt alone.

It was like she had been forcefully pushed into the dark and as much as she cry for help, the force kept pulling her forcefully into an endless depth. Her mother had spent days apologizing for not coming to save her in time but none of this was anybody's fault.

It was nobody's fault that Tara choose evil and Miranda...she still feels speechless and didn't even what to remember Sam's parts in all this, it breaks her heart into pieces thinking about it.

And before she forget, her mum had made her promise that she would come downstairs in the evening. Why would she make her promise her that and it was already evening, she such and dragged her finger through her hair?

She just wanted to lay back on her bed and sleep, she was just hiding away from everybody...because she knows that the world outside there was dangerous but she made a promise and she had to keep it.

Sunny went back to the room and put on her orange top that was laying on the chair, then slide her leg into her cozy White House footwear.

And when she walked to the mirror, she looked like a dessert girl in her baggy pant and orange top...she had to keep her promise, she shouldn't be bothered by how she looked now.

Pulling open the door, it was like coming out of her comfort zone but she didn't back away now, she kept moving, kept walking down the stairs.

And when stopped, she saw her mum and Aunt Emily. They were all dressed up and the house was fully decorated. What was happening? She stared from her mum to her aunt.

"What is happening? That was the first question she could bring herself to ask because she was beyond surprised. "We're throwing you a party" Rebecca smiled as she walked to her daughter and hugged her. "We all decided that since you weren't able to have a normal and fun graduation party, we decided to throw one here for you"

She shook her head because she still couldn't believe it, she knows she had been dreaming of how she wanted her graduation party to be but after the incident that happened that night...

It had felt that all her dream had been shattered and she wouldn't have it back...she never expected this. Sunny felt tears slide down her eyes as her aunt walked up to her and presented her with a big package designed with a purple ribbon.

"You should go and get prepared, tonight is your night and we would want to see you dress in your best" with tears in her eyes, she hugged her.

"Thanks, I never expected this", "Do you think we wouldn't do anything? You deserve the best and...we've invited your classmates and all the final year student to be here tonight...

"You're going to have the party you didn't have" she heard her mother say and at that moment she wished nothing but to be always surrounded by their love.

And by Eight o'clock she was already dressed up in her purple, strapless dress that made her look like a fair princess, she struggled hard not to cry and ruin her makeup.

Her hair was packed up by one of the best hairdressers and around her neck was a diamond necklace gifted to her by her mother. "You look beyond beautiful" the hairdresser commented.

"I feel more than blessed" she smiled. "You're blessed for having such a kind family, you're mum is the best". " You know then...with Tara, I thought I had the best mum but I found out that it wasn't true, Rebecca is more than a mum, she's a guardian angel to me"

The door opened and watched her mum enter looking all glamorous in her diamond dress. "Everyone is waiting for you, Princess" she nodded and followed her downstairs, she was more than excited to meet everyone but instead of her mother leading her outside to meet the guest, she diverted to the back of the house which was also decorated immaculately.

"Mum, where are you taking me?  " Just wait and see," Rebecca said with a smile, Sunny followed her quietly till their finally outside, there was no more question to ask because she found herself staring at Josh.

She turned in time to see her mum leaving them both. "Are you angry at me? She turned and saw him approaching her. " At first, I was but I don't see any more reason to be". "It was my fault..." Sunny placed her finger on his lips to stop him from continuing.

"I don't want to hear it, it's not your fault, and you would have been hurt if you had stayed any more minutes". He was silent for a few seconds before pulling her close till their mouth was inches away

" But, I bet you'll want to hear how much, I love you Sunny, that's what I wanted to tell you that night". "I'm sorry for running away". But Josh shook his head. " It doesn't matter, what matters now is that you're here now and I can say it to you...

Sunny felt tears drop from her eyes. "I love you Sunny and I'll always do" without waiting any longer, he took her lips in his, it tasted like heaven....how much he had missed her, he had been waiting for this special moment to confess his feelings.

And when he pulled away, he found himself staring at her glassy eyes. "You look beautiful...I miss you Sunny" "I miss you too, each day in there...I couldn't wait to tell you how sorry I was". " You don't have to be and I'm very sorry about mother, I can't help but blame myself too".

"You're not like her and would never be and the good thing now is she's gotten what she deserves" "I think the party had to with a bit longer...

With this, he took her lips in his again, Sunny felt a surge of pressure now as he pressed her body against him...
