Chapter 26

Kelly's Pov

Ashley isn't in the room anymore she went out with Kimberly for some Ice cream. I must say that I kinda envy Ashley I mean.. she's got someone who loves her and she gets to see the person everyday unlike me. I miss Jake so much. He hasn't called me again since that day I missed his calls. Is he still upset with me?

I take out my phone and dial his number. "Hi Kelly" Jake says in his friendly voice after three rings. "Hi Jake.. how are you doing?" I ask him. "I'm.. fine now that you're talking to me" he says and I smile. "I really miss you Jake.. I wish you were here with me" I sulk. "Awwwnnn.. I miss you too Kelly. I'm sorry I haven't called you in a while now. I've been really busy with managing the company and it's been tasking but worth it though" he says. "I understand Jake. I just wanted to hear from you and talk with you even if it's over the phone" I say. "Kelly.. you just made my day. Don't worry I'll make it up to you soon" he says. "I can't wait.." I say. "Tell me.. how's school so far?" He asks and I tell him everything relating to my studies but I leave Adrian's issues with me out of our conversation. I don't want him to get worried and become overprotective. I might have told him if we were speaking face to face instead of over the phone.

"This is so good to hear. I'm really happy you like it at your college" Jake says. "Yeah.. I am" I say. "That's so good to know" he says "Mmmm" I say. "Okay.. get them ready" I over hear Jake telling someone from the other end of the phone. "Huh?.. who was that?" I ask "Oh that was my personal assistant. I was just giving him some instructions" Jake says. "Oh okay" I reply "You know what? I'll call you back later okay Kelly?. I have to go now.. bye.. I love you" Jake says "I love you too" I manage to say before he hangs up the call.

My mind drifts back to what Ashley said earlier about the reason why I and Jake have never kissed and he is so comfortable with it is because he's cheating on me or that he's gay. Naaaa.. Jake isn't gay and I'm sure he's not cheating on me either I trust him he won't cheat on me.

I decide to watch a movie. And it turns out to be a steamy romance movie and I'm actually fascinated by the movie.

Ashley's Pov

I and Kim go to Hawkins to have a drink and chill. "I'll have a cream soda" I say to Henry "And I'll have a bottle of Fayrouz on the rocks" Kimberly says to Henry as well. I smile at Kimberly and she gives me a kiss on my cheek. "I love you babe" she says "I love you too" I say. "Now that we're official. Do you like what to come out to everyone in school and to your parents?" I ask her as Henry serves us both our drinks and she's quiet. "Babe?" I say to her.

"Not yet.. I don't think we should come out to my parents yet. We could come out to our friends and school mates but for now I don't want my parents to know about us" she says and my face falls.
