I can't believe I'll be stuck with this douche for three weeks. Anyway I don't have a choice I need to do this project for the sake of my grades.

Adrian stays seated while everyone leaves the class. He smirks at Kelly.

I'm pleased that I'm paired with Kelly.. now she would have no choice but to speak to me and have conversations with me and then I can prove Ray wrong.

"Kelly.." Scott says to Kelly and she ignores him. And starts to leave the class.

"Kelly.. please.. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you. Please don't stop talking to me" Scott says.

"Goldilocks!" Adrian says and Kelly hisses in irritation. "I've told you to stop calling me that!" She says while glaring at Adrian.

Adrian looks slightly amused at Kelly's fuming. Scott wants to laugh at Adrian's attempt to irritate Kelly but he stops himself remembering that he still needs Kelly's forgiveness and friendship.

"Kelly... I'll do anything for you but please don't ignore me. I'm sincerely sorry" Scott says.

As he and Adrian walk behind Kelly.

"Fine! I forgive you Scott.. happy?" She says with a fake smile and continues to walk away.

"Thanks Kelly.. so can we hang out this evening?" He asks and Kelly glares at him.

"Don't push your luck" she says to him and he puts up his hands in surrender.

"Okayyy.." he says playfully and Kelly can't help but laugh a little.

"Thank God.. I'm so relieved you've forgiven me" he says. "You're lucky that I don't hold grudges for a long time" Kelly says to Scott.

"Whatever" Adrian says and rolls his eyes and Kelly ignores him again.

"Okay Kelly see you around. See you around man" he says to both Kelly and Adrian as he walks away.

Kelly and Adrian stand in front of each other as an awkward silence envelopes them.

"So we'll be working on this project together" Adrian says stating the obvious.

"Yeah.. and the earlier we start working on it the earlier we can get out of each other's hair" Kelly says as she walks down the hallway.

"Where are you going?" Adrian asks and Kelly face palms herself. "To the library so we can start working on our project?" She says with sarcasm laced in her voice as she dramatically points to the library.

"I don't want to the project in the library" Adrian says scrunching up his nose. And Kelly is starting to lose her patience.

"Why would you not do the project in the library?" Kelly asked as she tries to suppress her irritation at what Adrian said.

"Because I don't. It's not comfortable" Adrian says and balls his tongue in his cheek not giving a fuck about how Kelly sees it.

"Adrian.. the library is the best place to study and do school work and that's where normal people do most of their school work" Kelly says in a calm voice trying to see if she can reason with Adrian.

"Well.. I'm not "People"" Adrian says air quoting the people. "I'm Adrian Pablo Fernandez" he says and Kelly nods pretending to understand what Adrian said

"So where will his highness like to do his group project?" Kelly asks in a mocking voice.

And Adrian has a smug look on his face as Kelly rolls her eyes at him

"At my student apartment" he says. "Your what now?" Kelly asks as she looks at him with a confused expression.
