Chapter 65

She lays him on his bed and she notices that he's shivering. She decides to rummage his wardrobe to search for a sweater and blanket for him.

He just lays in bed silently as he looks at the ceiling of his room.

"Here she says to him" as she helps him into his sweater and as she is about to look away to get his blanket their noses brush against each other because Adrian leaned in so close to her face.

Kelly is startled and she moves back a little before she gets his blanket and stands from his bed and carefully makes him lie down.

She covers him with the blanket and then turns to leave his room he holds her hand back.

"Thank you Kelly" he says to her and she looks at his hand on hers and she gives a warm and sincere smile before she leaves his room.

Kelly's Pov

I lay in the bed and stare at the ceiling. Who would have thought that Adrian had gone through all these things in life. I used to think he was just a spoilt brat from a very affluent family.

He looked so sober, vulnerable and pitiable. I've never seen this side of him before. He just showed how human he is even though he acts tough and non challant he has feelings and emotions too.

Never judge a book by its cover.. now I know why Adrian is the way he is. He's been through some bad stuff in life.

I wonder how he grew up and where he grew up and who knows where his mother is now.

Kelly thinks about all of these things and slowly drifts into sleep.

The next morning

The sun rays shine on Kelly's face and stirs in bed and opens her eyes.

She looks around the room she is in and remembers everything that happened yesterday.

She yawns and looks at her wristwatch "Oh no!" She says when she sees the time. She rushes out of the room and sees Adrian all dressed up standing beside his dinning table.

"I was starting to wonder when you'll actually get your ass out of bed" Adrian says before he takes a sip from his glass of juice.

Kelly rolls her eyes at Adrian because he's back to his former self annoying ND obnoxious Adrian.

"I won't waste my energy on you" Kelly says packing her bag.

"Where are you going to?" Adrian asks her. "To classes obviously" she says "In that?" Adrian asks pointing to her and she looks at herself and realizes that she's still in Adrian's clothes.

"Oh shit!" She says and rushes back into the room she slept in. She sees her wet clothes still on the floor.

She drags herself back to Adrian's living room.

" You can wear them" Adrian says referring to his clothes. "Thanks" Kelly says as she attempts to hug him but she stops herself wondering what she was doing.

" I'll get you to classes" he says as he slings his bag across his chest and walks out of the door.
