Chapter 109

"Okay.." Kelly says and pulls on Adrian's football jacket. She puts Adrian's apartment's spare key in her pocket before leaving the room. Ashley really wanted Kelly to ask her if she is okay.. she wanted to talk to Kelly about what happened with Kimberly but Kelly didn't seem to care. Ashley watches as Kelly leaves the room and she draws another smoke from her cigarette and tries not to cry.(Yeah.. Kelly isn't really an observant person. She didn't notice that something's off with Ashley despite spending time with Ashley and talking to her Kelly has her own flaws even though she's a protagonist in this story)

Kelly bumps into Scott who is holding a leather bag on her way to Adrian's apartment "hey Scott" Kelly says "hi Kelly.. uhhmm is Ashley in your room?" Scott asks Kelly "yeah she is" Kelly says "okay" Scott says "yeah..I'll see you later" Kelly says and Scott knows where she's going to but doesn't ask her "yeah" Scott says and goes to Ashley's room

He knocks on the door and Ashley thinks it's Kelly who came back she goes to open the door but sees Scott instead

"Hey Ash.. ice cream?" Scott says to Ash and Ash doesn't respond but leaves the door open for him to come into the smoke filled room

"Ash.."Scott says taking the cigarette from her hand "no!.. give it back to me Scott" Ashley yells as Scott puts out the cigarette

He opens the windows so the cigarette smoke can leave the room Ashley huffs in anger and goes to take another cigarette stick when Scott takes the whole pack and puts it in his pocket "stop it Ash" Scott says "what's your business Scott?.. why did you take my cigarettes away?" Ashley asks Scott in an angry voice

"Because you need to get a grip on yourself Ash" Scott says "I'm doing just fine Scott.. give me back my cigarettes?" Ashley says trying to get the cigarettes back from Scott but fails because Scott doesn't let her take them

"Fine!.. you can have all of them" Ashley says and storms out of the room

Scott is aware of Ashley's anger issues and how she gets when she's hurt.

She acts like she doesn't care and becomes very angry. She tries to replace her hurt with anger

Scott goes after Ashley

Meanwhile

Kelly gets to Adrian's apartment but he's not around. So she decides to wait for him.

However she's really bored now so she decides to find something to do.

She goes into the kitchen to see what she can make. She finds some chocolate chip cookies and bottles of sodas in the fridge

She sits down to watch Netflix when Adrian rings the door bell.

Kelly goes to open it and instinctively hugs Adrian. "Babe" Adrian says and Kelly smiles at the nickname Adrian has given her "hey.." Kelly says as Adrian and her sit on the couch

"I'll get you some chocolate chip cookies and soda" Kelly says and goes to the kitchen to return some seconds later

Adrian chuckels as Kelly keeps the chocolate chip cookies on the table and gives him the bottle of soda
