Chapter 88

"Is there a problem Kelly?" The woman asks Kelly "yes" Kelly says and the woman drops her pen and focuses on Kelly "okay.. what is it?" The woman asks Kelly.

"Well.. ma'am I don't think I can go on studying business" Kelly says and the woman looks surprised at Kelly's utterance at first and the she smiles at Kelly

"Have you found out what you're good at?" The woman asks Kelly and Kelly remembers her last visit here where the woman asked her what she was good at and her interests

"Yes ma'am.. I have" Kelly says "That's good Kelly.. so what do you want to study now?" The woman asks Kelly

"Creative writing and theater" Kelly says and the woman nods approvingly.

"Well.. that's possible since this is just your first year and you can still switch your courses. Many students started with a major they had in mindbut ended up graduating with a different major so, you're still in time to make a switch in your major" the woman says and scribbles on a paper

"I'll talk to the heads of department for both the creative writing department and theater department and then you can start taking classes in both majors but you'll take more courses in creative writing. Both of them will sum up to 30 course credit hours. It's the same with your business major" the woman informs Kelly

"Yes ma'am it is I understand" Kelly says "okay Kelly.. you may go now I'll inform the departments and they'll get in touch with you" the woman says "okay ma'am" Kelly says and stands up from her seat

"Here" the woman says handing Kelly a paper "all your courses needed for both majors are written in there so you know what to expect" the woman says

"Okay ma'am thank you" Kelly says "you're welcome" the woman responds and Kelly leaves her office

Kelly's Pov

I'm so relieved that I've switched my major now all I have to do is explain to my parents but I don't know how they'll take the news.

Kelly stops walking down the hallway "did I do the right thing?" She asks her self doubtfully. She shakes off her doubts. "This is my life and I should be the one to choose what I want" she says to herself confidently we she continues to walk down the hallway

Kelly goes for drama practice. She walks  into the theater and sees other people there but Adrian isn't there yet.

Meanwhile Sasha and her girls (the same girls who were with her when she threatened Kelly before to stay away from Adrian) are already at the theater. "I can't believe you actually opted to be the costumier for this lame drama" Bridget a Blondie one of Sasha's friends says scrunching up her nose

"Yeah Sash.. why are you even interested in this stupid play.. and why did you drag me here?" Eva the other girl a brunette says

Sasha face palms herself "look girls.. I'm not interested in this drama" Sasha says "Then why are you here?" Eva asks Sasha while Bridget looks at her nail polish
