Chapter 87

Adrian's Pov

I get back to my apartment, shower and lay in bed in my boxers as I look up at the ceiling "Kelly" he says as his mind reminisces the events of the day he slowly drifts into sleep

Kelly's Pov

I get back to my dorm and I feel really happy my heart is beating so fast.

I walk into my room and I see Ash in her pyjamas and she has a smile on her face so I pause. "Wow that's rare" I say and she startles looking at me "hey Kelly" she says to me "Hey.. what's up with you Ash? What's got you smiling so much.. oh no!" Kelly says as she gasps

"What?.. Kelly is something wrong?" Ashley asks with concern "I should have taken a picture of you while you were smiling and keep it cause I don't know the next time I'll see you smile so much" Kelly says and Ashley face palms herself

"Really Kelly?" Ashley asks Kelly and Kelly laughs. "So tell me what happened?" Kelly asks Ashley and Ashley tells her about her date with Kimberly earlier "awwwnnn that's so nice" Kelly says hugging Ashley and Ashley cringes and pushes Kelly away

Kelly laughs "look at you.. so in love.. I'm really happy for you Ash" Kelly says and Kelly smiles a little "Thanks Kelly" Ashley says.

"So.. what's up with you and Adrian?" Ashley asks Kelly and Kelly tells her everything that happened "Wow!.. I didn't know Adrian was going through all that" Ashley says "me neither.. and the doctor recommended a therapist but knowing Adrian he flatly declined the suggestion of seeing a therapist" Kelly says and Ashley laughs a little

"Why am I not surprised?.." Ashley says while looking at Kelly "You know you're really something Kelly.." Ashley says "Me?.. how?" Kelly asks "Adrian seems kinda different since you guys started working on your project" Ashley says

"Naaa.. stop reading meanings into nothing" Kelly says standing up from Ashley's bed and going to her own corner of the room to take off her clothes.

"Well.. you can believe whatever you want to Kelly but one thing I do know is that Adrian is changing.. he never lets people this close to him the way he has let you and he doesn't usually allow people see his vulnerable side but you have and that's strange for Adrian to do because he never does that" Ashley says and Kelly shrugs pretending to not be affected by what Ashley said but deep down she feels very good about what Ashley said about Adrian letting Kelly closer to him and him changing because of her.

The next day

Kelly gets dressed in a black Louis Vuitton shirt and white pencil Jean trousers and black sneakers.

She packs her hair into two Dutch braids and wears her chain the one Jake gave to her. She applies some lip gloss and mascara on her eye lashes.

She looks at herself in the mirror with a satisfied look. She then puts on her glasses and heads for her course advisors office.

She knocks on the door and she is invited in.

"Good Morning Ma'am" Kelly says to her course advisor "Good morning Miss Edwards" the woman says as Kelly takes her seat.
