Chapter 111

"I thought.. that maybe she would come back.. I thought she'll change her mind and not go to Paris anymore that she'll come back and tell me that she would stay back and not leave but I guess she didn't" Ashley says as she can't hold back her tears anymore

Scott envelopes her in hug and she sobs in his chest

They stay like that for a while as Scott allows Ashley cry quietly

Ashley pulls out of Scott's hug "I'm sorry Scott.. I didn't mean to cry in front of you and stain your shirt with my tears" Ashley says as she looks at the collar of Scott's shirt that is now wet from her tears

"Shhh.. it's fine Ash.. I don't mind" Scott says to Ashley and Ashley composes herself and sits up

"So this is what heart break feels like?" Ashley asks because Kimberly is the first person she's ever dated and had any romantic feelings for

"You'll be fine Ash" Scott say to Ashley encouragingly "yeah.. I know" Ash says after all it's not her first time if dealing with emotional pain she's even dealt with depression, panic attacks and social anxiety.

"You're strong Ash.." Scott says to Ashley looking at her admiringly and Ashley smiles a little

"So movie?" Scott says "yeah sure" Ashley says as they both settle down to watch a movie and dig into their ice cream bowls

Time skips

Kelly goes back to her dorm she opens the door to find Scott and Ashley talking and Ashley laughs a little

"Thanks Scott" says to Scott "anytime Ash" Scott says as he stands up "I'll go now.. goodnight" Scott says to Ash "night" Ash says with a small smile

"Hey Kelly.. goodnight" Scott says "goodnight Scott" Kelly says as Scott leaves the room

Ashley turns away from Kelly and takes away her laptop from her bed so she can go to sleep

"Ash.. are you okay?" Kelly asks Ashley "yeah.. am good" Ashley says to Kelly without sparing her a glance

Kelly now knows that there's something definitely wrong with Ashley so she walks up to Ashley and puts her hand on her shoulder

"Ash.. please tell me what's wrong?.. did something happen?.." Kelly asks Ashley confused

Ashley sighs and sits on her bed as Kelly follows her and sits too

"I broke up with Kimberly" Ashley says and Kelly gapes at Ashley "huh?.. why?." Kelly asks as she can't believe what Ashley is telling her

"Yeah.. Kimberly is moving to Paris with her Mom cause her parents got divorced and she has to go with her Mom.. long story short I and Kimberly are over" Ashley says with a shrug

"Oh my Ash.. I'm sorry.. I'm really sorry" Kelly says and gives Ashley a hug Ashley is taking aback at first at Kelly hugs her but she relaxes even though she doesn't hug Kelly back

"Thanks Kelly" she says to Kelly "don't worry Ash I know you'll find someone better than Kimberly and someone who won't leave you" Kelly says and Ashley laughs a little "yeah" Ashley says

"Yes.. so don't mope around and feel bad.. you know what?.. give me your phone" Kelly says and Ashley gives her a confused look but gives her her phone anyway
