Chapter 159

"with Kelly" Adrian replies "okay.. she's in LA now?" Raymond asks "yeah she is. I stayed with her all afternoon and all night. I got back home this morning" Adrian says

"Okay so did you sort things out with her?" Raymond asks as they both take their seats at the table however their father isn't there anymore

"I'm back with Kelly Ray" Adrian says happily. "That's good Adrian.. so she's forgiven you?" Ray asks him "yeah she has.. and I won't take that for granted" Adrian says and Raymond nods in agreement.  "Nothing can be as good as having Kelly back" Adrian says "I'm happy for you man" Raymond says "I'm really happy I have her back. I'll do everything to keep her with me" Adrian says "you should.. girls like Kelly are rare and hard to come by" Raymond says before he sips his coffee

"Yeah Man.. I love her" Adrian says "yeah I know" Raymond says to him with a smile. "I'm happy for both of you" Raymond says

"I came here to know how my son is doing and of course his partner" Miss Anderson says as she takes her seat on the chair in front of Jake and Allison.

Jake and Allison glance at each other and stay quiet

"How have you both been holding up? I saw the news. I hope you're both okay?" Miss Anderson asks

"Yes Mom.. Allison and I are fine" Jake says taking Allison's hand in his own

"Hmmm..." She says and looks at Allison like she's scrutinizing him

"Do you love my son.. Sincerely?" Mrs Anderson asks Allison and Allison squirms a little in his chair but Jake squeezes his hand reassuringly

"Yes I do... Mrs Anderson" Allison replies "and you're willing the stay with him no matter what? You won't leave him and disappear after a while?" She asks Allison

"No Mrs Anderson..I'll never leave Jake.. I'll stay with him till death do us part" Allison says and Mrs Anderson looks at him for some seconds

"Very well then.. I trust your words and I'm going to let you two be together" she says to Allison

"Thank you Mom" Jake says and she nods with a smile

"Mom?.. how's Dad?" Jake asks and his mother sighs

"He's still angry and well heartbroken" Mrs Anderson says and Jake feels sorry for his father

"I'm really sorry Mom.. I didn't mean to disappoint you and Dad. I'm really sorry" he says

"It's fine.. there's nothing anyone can do about it.. it's your choice." Mrs Anderson says.

Now Mrs Anderson wouldn't have wanted her son to turn out to be gay. She wanted him to get married and have children and continue on with his father's legacy however since things turned out this way she couldn't just abandon her son. She still wanted to be a good mother to him and be there for him because he's her only son and only child. She wouldn't want him to be neglected. So even though she isn't as happy as she would have been if he had married Kelly or any other girl she has to suck it all up and stand by her son so that her family doesn't tear apart completely
