Chapter 160

"Okay son.. I'm glad you're doing okay and that your boyfriend is okay too" she says to Jake

"Thanks Mom.. for coming" he says to his mother "you're my son and I'll always look out for you" she says to him

"I'll take my leave now.. take care of yourself and your boyfriend" she says to him "yes Mom" he says to her as she gets up to leave

"Thank you for coming Mrs Anderson" Allison says to her "my pleasure.. as long as you keep my son happy then we're okay" she says to Allison

"I certainly will Ma'am" he says to her and she nods with a smile

"I'll see you out mom.." he says to his Mom as she walks out of the door. Her turns to Allison "I'll be back babe" he says "okay" Allison says and goes back to the kitchen to fix them something to eat

Jake catches up with his Mom

"Jake... I'll want you to take me somewhere" Mrs Anderson says and Jake looks at her with a confused expression. "To where Mom?" He asks her

"I want to meet with my lawyer on Friday  and I want you to come along with me" she says to him "why?.. is something wrong Mom?" He asks his mother with a worried expression

"Not really.. I just want to see him and have a discussion with him" she says to him and he still looks confused but agrees anyway

"Okay Mom.. I will" he says to her "bye son" she says to him as she plants a kiss on his cheek

"Bye Mom" he says as the driver drives off with his mother in the car

He makes his way back to Allison's apartment where he gets a notification on his phone and it's from his mother.  She paid a lot of money into his account and he's surprised

He gets a text from her shortly after

"You should get some groceries and food for yourself and Allison" she says in the text

"I love you Mom" he says to her while staring at his phone screen with a smile

Scott drops Kelly at work "I'll see you later" Scott says to Ashley "okay babe" Ashley says to Scott

"Good morning ma'am" Ashley says to the head editor "Miss Macaulay please sit down" the woman says to her

"Ma'am.. I'm here to submit my art works for the exhibition" Ashley says "okay" she says to Ashley as Ashley lays down her art works and the woman looks at them and gives a satisfied expression

"The exhibition is this Friday from 8:00am till 2pm" she says "okay ma'am" Ashley says before leaving the office

"Hey guys" Adrian says to Scott and Gangtae as they head out of the basketball court

"Hey man" Scott says to Adrian as they shake hands and bump their shoulders "her dude" Gangtae says to Adrian repeating the same action that Scott did.

They take a seat on one of the benches on the road outside the basketball court.
