Chapter 41

Donald's Pov

"He've done more than his share of deeds. I stopped admiring him when he thought of kidnapping the only hope of joy I have in my life time. Him kidnapping my mate equals to him cutting off my arms."

I've never seen Damien as angry as he is before, you can hardly anger him.

"He doesn't deserve to be in this world, hee deserves to die a painful death for the ordeal he put us through, and for the ones our mate passed through in his hands.. He deserves to die a slow painful death." I concurred.

I trust Damien and his ways, his the tormentor of is three.

I've never seen a man derive pleasure from other's pains like he does.

He loves it when others pay for their sons through pains, a true sadistic son of his father.

"How are we going to stay static for how long it will take this room to return to it's original size. My legs are already cramping." he wanted go raise a leg, but thought better of it.

His question is a reasonable one, we can't stand here for however long it will take for this room to return to it's former size.

" We can sit, that way we wouldn't feel any pain from standing for hours," The suggestion I gave is good, but the problem is how we will achieve that without disrupting the progress of the room.

If the room shrinks again, it will take time for it to return to the stage it's in.

" The suggestion seems okay, but how can we achieve that?" he looked worried.

"We can sacrifice a little diminishing for a greater good, If we sit at the same time it will only disrupt its progress once."

" pray tell me how we will go about that, am tired of standing," he frowned.

" At the count of three, we at at once. One, Two Three."

we both sat at once, and thankfully the room didn't notice the disruptions.

" All we have to do is wait for it to return."

oh goddess let my speculations be true, please let the door appear

I don't want to think on what will happen to us inside this box like room is the door fails to appear like I earlier said it will.

Damien and Daniel are relying on my wits to get us out of here with our mate safely with us.

We must have sat for seconds, minutes, hours or even days before the door appeared.

"On the count of five,we run."

We counted up to five before we dashed towards the door, miraculously the door opened. without much Ado.

We breathed out a sign of relief when we found ourselves in a normal looking hallway.

it was unlike the one we came when we walked in through the door.

"This must be the right hall way" Damien said.

As soon as those words left his mouth, we caught a whiff of our mate's scent in the air.

Since we came into this house, this was the first scent we have of him.

We followed the scent like a beacon as it led us past numerous corridors.

"We're closer to him, I can taste his scent on the air," the giddiness was back to his voice.

Damien might deny all he wants about his attractions to our mate, but we know the truth of the matter, he loves our mate just like we do.

"Where do you think you're walking to looking too casual as if you own the place?" I groaned when I heard the question, what now?

Can't a male find his mate in peace?

why must there be obstacles on our way?

We looked towards the fierce looking wolves, they must have sensed our Alpha power by now, but they weren't backing down.

There's no way for that, ordinary pack members don't challenge Alphas irrespective of the pack the head.

"You're rogues?" Damien was the first to piece the puzzles together.

"You got it Sherlock Holmes, you solved the mystery of the century,"  they laughed at us.

I don't get it, how did Alpha Dess manage to get rogues to his side?

what's he afraid of uncovering, that will make him put extra security measures in his house?

"I thought you serve none,"

rogues are former pack members who refuse to bow to a reigning monarchy, they're the black sheep of the pack.

"We're not serving him or anything like that.

we work for the highest paying Alphas as assassins, we're the ones he sent against most of the other packs.

All rogues sightings are all our doing, he pays us to put unrest in the mind of other pack members." their leader was the one who answered me.

That means Alpha Dess is more than we believe him to be.

"why are you telling us these things?"

They can't be so foolish as to do that.

The leader laughed.

"You two are as good as dead, there's no hope of survival for you two Alphas." he smiled as he lunged for me.

Three wolves intercepted their progress towards us.

"Alphas go on and save your mate, he might be in trouble. Go before it's too late." I heard Richard say through the mind link.

I was reluctant to leave them "what of you three?" I can't leave them in the mercies of the rogues."

"We will be fine, just go ahead and save your mate," he said as he intercepted the progress of a rogue that was charging towards me.

"Okay," I  agreed as we rushed towards the room our mate's scent led us to.

The sight that met us was one I never want to see in my lifetime again,

an almost naked Alpha Dess was looming over our terrified mate.

He had his eyes shut tight against the hold the Alpha had on him.

With a blinding rage we charged towards them.

Damien took out Alpha Dess that was still lost in whatever world he might be in.
