Miguel's pov
"How dare you?" he rushed towards me. His claws elongated. His face contorted in a frown.
I raised my sword up to wade off his attack, but Bulky beat me to it.
Bulky who have changed into his wolf form knocked the tribal marked guy to the side. Expertly making way for me to complete the task I have in hand.
I slowly walked towards a lifeless Manuel. There's no reason to rush seeing as Tribal guy lies lifeless on the ground.
"I guess it's over Manuel."
I raised the sword, and in one swift motion I separated the head from the body.
"Oh my God!" I dropped the sword in horror. My hand shaking at the realization of what just happened.
"I killed someone," I looked down at my hands that have blotches of red on it.
I killed someone.
I killed someone.
I can't believe I killed someone.
I tried shaking my head to make sure what I think is happening is what's happening, and it sure was.
How could I have killed someone without batting an eye?
Am a murderer.
I killed someone as of it doesn't matter. I murdered a man!
"Miguel," Bulky shook me.
"I killed someone. Bulky I killed someone." I tightly held on to his shirt as my body shook from the shock I just had.
"Am a murderer. I killed a man."
The shock I felt now didn't happen to me when I drowned him in the river. It might be because I lost consciousness after the deed was done, but right now am still awake.
"Look at me Miguel," he held my face with both of his hands, and made me face him.
"You didn't kill him because you wanted to kill him. You did what you did to protect your babies." He smiled at me.
" My babies," I scrambled to my feet.
The mention of my babies was enough to snap me out of whatever land I might have been in.
My babies were still sound asleep in their stroller. The sight of them made me exhale.
I guess we've won.
My babies are alive so am I.
"We need to get out of here Miguel. We have no time to spare. You babies need urgent attention," he carried the stroller with my babies as if it weighs nothing, and I followed him outside.
I might be bone tired, but I want to be as far from this godforsaken house as I can. The house holds no pleasant memory.
"Wait here."
He instructs when we were a bit far from the bamboo house.
"Where are you going to?"
I looked around in fear. Half expecting another Manuel to leap you from the large grasses.
I know it's a superstitious thought, but can you blame me for thinking that?
" It wouldn't take long," he ran towards the bamboo house, and before long flames started going up.
He went back to set the house on fire?
"Let's go," he carried the stroller as if nothing happened, and started walking back the same way I came when I though it was my mates who sent the letter to me.
"Do you have a car?" I asked.
I don't think I will be able to walk any more. The last strength I had in me was made use of at the now burnt house.
"No. "
He answered curtly.
"No? how do you expect me to walk all the way home?"
i might have walked from my house to this place, but it feels like ages ago.
Right now, the only thing I want to do is deeply sleep for all of eternity without waking up.
"I can scent people," he dropped my stroller when a familiar car came into focus.
" Mond!" I waved a hand.
If they've not seen me before, they will certainly do so now.
"Bye Miguel. We might see in the future if the goddess permits, " Bulky made to leave but I tightly held on to his hand.
" Why don't you come with me? Where are you going?"
" I have a family to take care of Miguel. Don't worry we might meet someday."
He smiled at me before lightly touching my babies. "You need to take them home."
" Thank you for all you've done."
I will forever be grateful to him because without him I and my babies wouldn't have escaped from the hellhole I was taken into.
"Till next time," he turned into a wolf, and ran back the way we came from.
"Thank you," I whispered. A smile grazing my face.
"Miguel!" Mond, Solomon and Aiden ran towards me.
"Are you okay?
Where have you being?
What happened to you?
Did you get lost?"
Questions after questions were asked, and I did my best to answer each of them as best as I could.
"You were kidnapped?" Mond asked as if that's the only thing he heard from my explanations.
This makes it the third time I was kidnapped. I guess I really did have something with kidnapping and things like that.

"Where's mother?" I looked at the car to check if she's there, but she wasn't in there.
"The Ilumeas asked for you to leave our town when it was discovered that you were the reason why those things were sent towards us. Your mother is currently waiting for you in my house."
Mother is alright.
I breathed out a sigh.
"Let's go home," Mond walked towards my babies.
Looking at my babies made me recall the words Bulky said.
"I want to go back," I said to Aiden. "I want to go home."
Despite how angry I am with my mates, I know they're the only ones who can help them.
" That's where we're going. Am taking you home," Aiden smiled at me.
" No," I shook my head when I discovered he wasn't talking about the home I actually want to go to.
" Take me back to my pack. I need to go home." I said in firm determination.
