Chapter 183

Donald's pov

If only I can find ways to make them live. I will gladly lay down my life for them if that will keep them alive.

After all there's nothing to life without my mate. Life wouldn't make sense, neither will it have any meaning if I don't have my mate by my side.

I rather die than be alive without Miguel and my babies. A bleak world is worth nothing.

Not being alive is better then living in a colourless world.

"How long do you plan on being here without leaving?" Richard asked when he came in here. " How do you and your brothers propose to find a cure if you don't look for it?"

" Is there such thing as a cure?" I look up at him. My eyes misting as I said those words.

The pack doctors have talked about finding a cure for our mate, but none for the babies. If no cure is found for the babies I don't think it will matter if Miguel is alive or not.

Miguel won't be the same without his babies.

*

I opened my eyes to the dark mist surrounding me. My eyes blinking, trying to make sense of what am seeing.

"Where am I?" I looked around, but the white fog surrounding me made it really difficult for me to see anything.

The place was thick with fog. The air heavy as when a storm is coming.

The ground am walking on seems really wet. Must be the dew from the fog or something like that.

"Where am I?"

I asked no one in particular. Taking more cautious steps forward. A person can't trust something of this sort.

Of care's not taken, I might find myself in a drain with no means of escape.

The more I walked, the more deeper and thicker the white fog became until I was almost blinded by the Whiteness.

"Anyone there?" I ask.

Who knows if there's someone out there who might be of help to me of they're to discover me.

Where's Miguel?

What of my brothers?

The babies!

I looked around. My fear of something happening to my family ricocheting as I looked around.

The entire place was so silent I can hear my breathe. The silence and white fog made the place real ominous.

What's this?

Where am I?

Never have I heard of something like this. Never have I experienced something as this.

"Hello?" I called out.

How did I come to be here?

Where in the goddess's green world is this?

"Daniel," I heard a female call out to me. Her voice was that of a person in authority.

"Who's that?" I looked around trying to look for the owner of the voice, but the mist made it really difficult for me to make out the outline of the person with that voice.

"Shouldn't your question be what you're doing here?" she asked.

Her voice sounding a bit near.

What's she saying?

" Okay. What am I doing here?"

i wanted to ask what she's doing here, but I deduced she wouldn't tell me that.

"You thoughts brought you here."

All of a sudden I found myself in a Grassy sunny place. The soft blowing of the wind made the grasses dance seductively.

The scents of the grasses reminded me so much of summer.

How did I get here?

One minute I was in a place as foggy as hell, and now am in a sunny place..

Just where in the world am I?

Moreover where's the female I heard her voice?

She must know why am here.

"Daniel," I heard her call to me, and I turned towards the sound of her voice.

Standing a little distance from where I stood is an ethereal beauty.

Her hair shines as red as the fiery sun. Her face was too bright I couldn't look into it.

She was wearing a blue flowing gown, and on her right hand is a long thing that looks suspicious like a staff, while she have a ancient looking cup on her left hand.

"Who are you?" I looked at her in question.

Making sure not to closely look into her too bright face . Looking into it is the same as trying to look up at the sun during a very hot sunny day.

Just enough long look at her was enough to make me feel the start of a headache.

She laughed, the sound was like that of a spring.

How strange can she be?

"I don't think that's important Daniel," she said. The mirth gone from her voice.

How did she know my name?

The question is something I should have asked but knowing her, she won't answer it.

"What your question should have been is what you're doing here. Aren't you curious to know how you got to be here?"

" What am I doing here?"

I asked since that's the only question she seems to want to hear.

"Am only doing this for Miguel, and for the future of my people," she said after a moment of hesitating silence..

Miguel?

" How did you know of my mate?"

Things are getting more confusing the more I talked with her.

Why is she making mention of Miguel as of she've known him, or better yet knows him intimately?

"I've met with him more times than I can count," she stretched forth the staff in her hand.

"Your babies will only be revived by the blood of their fathers.

It takes the blood of a full Alpha wolf to purge out the evil effect of the bane injected in them."

The blood of full Alpha wolf?

" They should be injected with your mixed blood before the sunset today, that's the only way to save your babies.

Any delay from you can cost them their life, and you It's will cost you your mate and your babies."

" Who are you, and how did you happen to know all you're telling me?"

" Am the one who helps."
