Chapter 58 Hunger for Power

Glamorous was sitting leg crossed with open palms spread out and eyes shut, muttering something under her breathe .She has been like this for the past one hour. She was trying to summon Gina's spirit. She was at the verge of succeeding when a thunder struck and broke the connection.
She got Mad and tried again but fail. She could not believe she failed all over again.
"You little brat,you kept frustrating my peace. You think you could come from nowhere and destroyed all that I have work for ages."
She said and start to pace around.
"I will not sit and watch you destroy my son. Nature might be on your side but I manipulated nature before and I will do it again"
She disappeared and appeared at the throne house in country south. Lord Xexes was sitting carelessly on the throne lost in thought. He did not realized that he got company until Glamorous cleared her throat and he returned back to his sense.
"Mother! You are here"
He said and sat upright.
"Yes my son,you look so troubled"
She said and moved closer to him
"No mother, I was just thinking about what has happened these past years"
He responded and looked at his mother for the first time.
"Mother have you been able to summon her?"
"No I have not been able to,I tried a while ago"
She said and continue,
"Their bonds have been reconnected"
"What! mother that's a bad news"
He said with fear evident in his eyes
"No Xexes,it's actually in our favor"
She said and grinned
"How?"
He asked.
"If it was before,one of them could live but now that their bond has be reconnected, one dies if one is killed. They repeated the mistake they made years back."
She said and Lord Xexes smiled that one will think his mouth is going to get torn
"That calls for celebration mother"
He said .
"Not so fast, don't count your chicks before they are hatched"
She said and turned her back on him,
" mAll we have to do now is to lure the prince into our den and we execute our plan only then will we celebrate"
"How is that going to be possible"
He asked .
"Leave that to me"
She said and disappeared. Glamorous could do anything to keep the throne.
She was not always like this,she was once a white witch who was love by all that knows her. She was the apple of the her parents eyes. Growimg up,she had everything she wanted including power.
Her darkness began when she could not have the man she want to spend her life with simply because he has a maiden destined for him.
She ran to her parents for help but they could not help her, so she went to a black witch for help and the black witch told her to kill her parents to gain more power in that way she could twist destiny and have the man of her dream.
She loved her parents but the hunger for power clouded her sense of reasoning and she killed her parents,drank their blood and fed on their flesh.
When she was done with the ritual,she went back to the black witch but it was too late for her because the man had married his destined bride. She was broken and angry not only at herself but at the man who was responsible for the turns her life has taken and she vowed that he will pay for the things she did in other to get him.
The man happened to be Prince Osmos, Glamorous was the reason he never had a child for over twenty years.
She met him and fell in love with him but when she failed to get him, she caused his bride to be without a child for two decades.
When Lord Osmos went to Glamorous for help,she took her revenge upon him by demanding for his soul and manipulating the Lordress to bare her child in that way she could rule the South through his son. Her anger towards the South has been her darkness.
