Chapter 59 Best Thing

Gina's point of view.........

         Christamos was playing the flute while I sing for him. The night was pitched dark, the only light at the garden was the standing lamp. I could not help but to get lost in his eye over and over again. His eyes were mesmerizing and because of that I composed a song about him. He loves the song as if his life depends on it.

     When I came into the palace,he was a loner. Few days with him made him to come out of his shell. I was aware of my mission at the palace but I got lost in love and forget all about it until it was too late. Falling in love with Christamos was the best thing that has happened to me.

      I stood at  a far and watch the other Gina sing for Christamos. The image slowly faded and a tear dropped from my eyes.

      I opened my eyes but shot them back it because I was blinded by the sudden light that appeared. I open them again and I got adjusted to the light. I realised that it was the sunrays.

     "Sunrays!!"

   I jacked up to check my time but found a figure laying face down with his arms crossed around my boobs. What happened last night came back fresh in my mind. 

  Christamos is really here,my long lost love.

   I did not know what it do at the moment, whether to jump or limp but I ended up doing none. I could not believe he is really here. I caressed his cheek and it was really him. My true fated mate is here,he has been with me all along. What gives me joy the most was for the fact that he was my handsome stranger the one I gave my first time to.

     My heart gladdened at the sight of him,so it's been him all along. I don't know if getting my past life memories was the best thing. I am not aware if he knows about us?

       I tried removing his hand around my boobs but he groaned and opened his eyes.

   "Hey"

 He said and smiled at me

  "Hi to you"

I replied shyly.

   "What's making you to blush this beautiful morning,huh?"

 He asked and raised his eyebrows at me.

    "Nothing,just get off me already"

  I said and tried to get up.

    "Ok"

He said and laid back on the bed. I checked my time and it was 7:30 and I am supposed to be at work by 8:00. No way I am going to get done with my morning routine and still go to work today.

    I was about getting up when I turned and looked at the guy on the bed. Does it mean that Christamos forgot about us or what?.

   "Ummmm ..... I .. don't you think you have over stayed your welcome huh?"

    I asked facing him but he made no attempt of responding. I was about to grab him on his shoulder when he turned and my face collided with his. I stared at him and at that moment I realized that I have really missed this guy. It was unfair that I have to lose all my past memories.

      I caressed his jaw.

   "I have really missed you"

I said and bumped my forehead on his.

   He stared deep into my eyes and wiped the tears that was threatening to spill out.

 "You don't realize how painful it was living without you, It took me years to realised that you might not come back. I lived everyday hoping to see you but you were no where to be found."

He said and kiss the tip of my nose.

    I sniffed back my tears and hugged him so tight. I threw my head and laughed. He laughed as well

   "You are so cute when you laugh like that"

 He said and I blushed.

    "So you knew all along but you made no effort to help me realise who I am"

I said and made a sad face.

 "Madam Hailey said that my presence around you will help you remember who you truly are"

He said and continue,

 "When I saw you at the gas station,all I wanted to do was to hold you in my arms and tell you how much I missed you.  But I did not want to compromise your originality so I allowed you come to me by your own will.

     Nature and the universe was on my side by leading you to me. I am grateful that we are back together"

   He said and I smiled my gratitude to him.

    "I am so sorry I left like that but I could not bare the pain of losing you,so I had to die to be with you. When I got to the underworld and found you not there,I was so mad and I could only wait for  an opportunity to come back so that I could reincarnate. When that opportunity came,I grabbed it. But then,I had no past memories of mine"

 I said with all the courage I could master.
