Chapter 40 New Found Hope?

        She was about turning to her path way when she saw a body laying face down on the ground with blood all over it. she got scared and wanted to leave but something stopped her. she moved closer to the body and gasp when she found out that the body belongs to their prince, Christamos.

   "what in the world happened to him"

 she asked no one in particular

  She checked his pulse and thank God he is still breathing. She tried lifting him up but could not. She did not know who is his enemy so she could not ask for help. She managed and took him in. Thank heavens she still one of the few white witches left.

       She made a healing potion and applied it on his wounds. with these,he will be back on his feet in few days.

      Few days has gone and the prince is getting better. He could walk around and eat to his full,it's a good progress.

     The prince got all better and there was no scar left on his body,the immortality trait.

    He knew his love died because of him and the guilty was killing him slowly.

      "It's a good thing you are alive"

Madam Hailey told him one afternoon

He smiled and said nothing

   "Don't worry she will come back to you"

 She said and his eyes glistened with hopes

 "She will?"

  He asked making sure to understand what she is saying

 "Yes she will but not now"

 She responded 

    "Not now,when?"

   He asked 

  In due time

 She said and went inside the house.

      Few years passed and the prince was still  hiding with everyone thinking he is died. He continued to wait for his lover to come back to him like Mom Hailey said.

       He waited for close to century and she did not come back, He requested for a reborn when he learnt she will be reborn and Nature granted him his request. Nature was merciful enough by restoring to him his memories from past life. He was born five years before Gina was born

Gina point of view........

      I have been sitting here idly since morning,I was so bored and mom is not back yet. I have exhausted all my energy playing games on my phone. This is the borest Sunday in my  entire life. I decided to go take a nape when my phone rang and Nora was the one calling.

"Hello my love "

I said immediately I picked the call

 "Hi baby, afternoon. How is your day going?"

She said at once

"Boring, I am so bored"

I responded

"Sorry dear,guess what"

She said excitedly

"What bae,you know I can't guess. Just tell me already"

 I said getting impatient

 "Ok! ok!! ok!!! I bumped into Chris today at the mall"

She said and I gasped

 "What! Did he recognize you?"

I asked her

"I don't think so"

She said and I released the air I did not realize I was holding.

"Thank goodness"

I said 

"Why,don't you want to see him again?"

She asked 

   "No bae,I don't want to see him again. What I had with him was for one night and I don't wish to continue that."

I told her.

 She said ok,we chit-chatted for few seconds and the call ended.

       I checked the time and it was a minute to 13:00,Mom should be on her way home,speaking of an Angel and here she is. I saw her car driving into the drive way and I stood up to welcome her.

    Lord Xexes just arrived at the mountain and it seems the mountain witch was expecting him.

"Welcome son"

She said and gestured for him to take a sit.

"Thanks mother"

Lord Xexes said and sat on the stool presented to him

"Mother you know why I am here"

He said and she replied him,

"Offcouse son"

"Then do something,you did that before"

"Its not as easy as before,but there is a solution"

She told him 

 "What could that be mother?"

He asked getting all excited

"Get to the princess before the prince,make her marry you willingly only that will you be able to kill your nephew and he would not get reborn. But don't force the girl into marrying you if not,you will never have hold over her. And be careful,Nature is up against you so any little mistake,you will go down."

She told him

"But how will I be able to marry her"

He asked

"Go,I will bring word across to you"

She told him

    Lord Xexes left the mountain with a new found hope. He wished to remain as he is and rule the South forever. His lust for power had made him do what he was not supposed to do. He is not planning on stopping now. He will do anything for power.
