Chapter 115 A chance at Love

    He kept looking at me the whole time, hoping for a positive answer.

   Will we be fine? Is it alright? I wish I could get answers to my questions. I sighed and gave him a smile.

    "Alright Ben,let's do this"

I responded. Immediately I did,he jumped on me and crashed his lips on mine without warning. I tensed but relaxed few seconds later and responded to his kiss.

    He broke away from the kiss and bumped his forehead on mine smiling.

"Thanks so much Nora,you don't know how happy I am. I promise you won't regret saying yes to me"

He said like a happy child and I smiled

   "I hope so Ben"

I replied and he pinched my cheek

 "Don't be a negative Viber, my love"

He said,I smiled and pulled away from him with a shy smile.

"Let me prepare breakfast for us. Make yourself comfortable"

    I said and he nodded. He sat down and I left heading towards the kitchen. I was running a marathon in my mind,I was so confused. Hope I did the right thing saying yes to him?. I think I should call Gina and tell her what's up and to know how she is this morning.

    Turned my face where my back was before and headed to my bedroom. I  got my phone and there were two missed call,all from Gina. She called about twenty minutes ago.

    I called her back but she did not pick,I wondered why. Its unusual of her not to pick her phone at one ring expect if something is wrong.

    I called again praying for her to pick up and she did,I was so relieved.

    "Hi baby girl, what's up with you?."

I said immediately the call got connected.

"I am great,she said with a weak voice."

   I began to panic,why is she sounding so stressed out?.

"Is there a problem?

I asked

"No! why did you asked?"

She asked back sounding more stressed out and I  got worried the more.

You did not pick up at the first ring."

  I replied.

   "Sorry about that bae,I was kind of stressed out. A lot has happened from yesterday till now"

She said and sighed. I thought as much

   "What happened baby"

"I really don't want to stress you now,why did you call"

She asked avoiding to answer my question. I sighed, typical of her. Always putting people first before her.

   "I insist,I want to hear it"

I said.

   "Glamorous was here and there alot of things she said that I don't understand"

She replied and sighed again, literally she has been sighing a lot lately.

    "She came,hope she never tried anything?"

I asked her.

    "Yes she never tried anything but she confused me with her words"

"What did she say"

   I asked. I wonder why Glamorous visited her?,hope she has not come to try her tricks.

   "Nothing specifically but she kept talking about old time"

She responded, 

"Do you know something?"

She asked. I sighed,I don't know if it's right to tell her about them.

  "You know what,just calm down. If I could I will come down to your place,we really need to talk"

I said trying to easy her anxiety.

 "If you could? What do you mean?"

She asked and I was not surprised she did.

"Well that's why I called you,Ben camped at my house"

I said and hissed. She limped at the background,I hope she don't go about breaking her legs..

 "Really? And so?"

She asked excitedly

"I agreed with his proposal."

I replied with a gloom on my face,why is she making it sounds like it's a good thing when she knows how mate stuff goes.

   "Wow...that's very thoughtful of you bae. I am happy for you,you might not know what destiny have in store for you"

  She said confidently,she has a way around her words. If you think you did the wrong thing,meet Gina and she will give you one thousand and one reasons justifying your actions.

    "Thanks baby but I hope I did the right thing"

I said.

"Offcouse you did the right thing. If you don't who will"

She said trying to assure me

    "I tell you baby you will not regret this. You have really suffered alot waiting for your mate. Maybe this is the way Nature wants to compensate you by giving you a chance at love. Make use of this opportunity,things might turn around if only you believe"

   I said and sighed,she is right. I should just stop being hard on myself and embrace the opportunity maybe like she said,things might turn around.

    "Okay baby,thanks a lot. I heart you big, gotta go now and I will see you if I can"

"Okay baby... expecting you but go have fun,I hope you understand what I mean."

She said and hung the call. I sighed again and left the room. Let me go get us fed.
