Chapter 116 Find him yourself

Gina's point of view...... 

   I got off the phone with Nora and sighed,I have been having a long day these days.She pledging to see me today indicate she knows something.

    I wonder what it is,well I would not want to rack my brain thinking about it. I will just wait for her to come and tell me.I am having headache over the ones I know and more is coming my way.

     I am just happy that she has decided to give Ben a chance. Who knows,it might be where her destiny lies. That's one thing with destiny,it will not tell you the method in which it will find you. But In whichever way it found us,may we be ready in other not to miss destiny.

     I thought of lying longer on the couch and I decided I should,I barely slept last night. My body need rest. In as much as I want to save the South I have to be fit doing too. There is nowhere it's written in the history that witches don't fall sick. I know how it could be disastrous if I fall sick and I don't want that happening anytime soon.

     I lay back on the couch and slept off.

  I was running through the bushy path trying to get to Chris before anything could happen to him. For close to thirty minutes now I have been running and my strength is slowly draining. I stop to catch my breath but the pain at my abdomen increased and I had to start running again. I know he is in pain and I pray that nothing happens until I get there.

      Since they want me,they should keep calm because I am on my way but if anything should happen to him they will pay. In as much as Christamos is my life and death,I will rather chose to die in his place but not without out the enemy going down with me. I hope they know that they are messing with the wrong person.

     My anger began to rise and the pain in my abdomen increased the more. I began to perceive his scent,that means he is close by but his scent was mixed with something I could not tell.

    I thought of running faster but the more I try the weaker I become but I have to run faster because chris's life depends on how fast I get to him.

    I continued running until I got to an open space and I began to limp because his scent got stronger. 

   I stopped to catch my breath when I had someone laughing behind me. I turned sharply to behold Glamorous grinning so wide.

    "it looks like our warrior came late"

She said and grinned wider. I was so boiling with anger that the aura around me changed and my strength came back in full force. I clutched my fist. A look of fear flick in her eyes but she masked it as soon as it appeared. I am not surprised that she can hide her emotions so well.

    "Well you will not like me if anything should happen to him"

I said in a voice that I could not recognize as my own.

   "where is him?"

I thundered approaching her and she began to step back. Heaven helps her if I get to her.

  "Find him yourself"

       She said and step backwards even more

  "Well I don't think I can deal with you at the moment,catch you later princess."

She said and disappeared.

  I gritted my teeth,I made to follow her but remember I have to find Chris. she is lucky this time around,she might not be next time.

    I began to search around hoping to find him soon,my anger was increasing and the air was getting crankier. 

     I searched and searched yet I could not find him. I know he is here because his scent lingered in the air,I whispered his name yet no answer.

      Couple with anger and frustration,my hair began to turn silver and my inner witch activated herself and I saw him laying not space away from me. He has been here all along and I could not find him because I failed to use my inner strength. 

     I ran to him but he looks as if he was lifeless,my body began to tremble and a mincing scream escaped from my mouth.

    I woke up sweating and my body drenched from my own sweat. I could not catch my breath and I was losing strength the more. I made to speak but no word came out from my mouth.

     My body continue tremble,I tried standing up but my leg wobbled and I dropped on the floor.

     My purse was on the couch across to me and getting to it was a nightmare, I tried to crawl but it looks as if my soul has left my body.

      I tried once more but failed,I then scummed to darkness but not without calling out to Chris.
