Chapter 136 Twist in Plan

   My beef was done so I brought it down and went to bring out the sauce from the fridge.

     I took the quantity that will be okay for mom, Tiana and I and put it on the burner and added the spiced beef in it and covered it.

    Few minutes later,I checked the rice and it was done. Well it was already softened before I washed it so it doesn't have to take time to get done this time around.

     I was about to put it down when the door bell rang and my heart leaped,sure it's the person my heart has been on since.

     With a great speed I left the kitchen not minding that I have some thing out on the heat. Before I could get to the door, mom had opened the door and was exchanging pleasantries with whoever I think is at the door. 

      Mom led the person in the moment I got to the living room,it was Nora as I predicted in my heart. I am happy she was able to make it. Mom and Nora are best of friends maybe is because they know much about me that I don't know myself,I never gave a thought to their friendship until Mom revealed to who I am and I also got to know that Nora was aware. So basically Nora and Mom was on a mission of keeping me together until I am 25 but why Nora did not let Mom know about my one night fun was what I don't know or maybe she thought if she let Mom know,there will be a twist in plan or I am sure it's because she knows it was Christamos that's why she did not a breath a word about it.

    I was about hugging Nora when she brushed pass me and ran towards Tiana. Tiana  was as stunned as I am or Maybe even more.

    "Tiana!"

She screamed and hugged her almost knocking her down if not that Tiana anticipated Nora's speed and was ready for the crash.

   "Nora!"

    Tiana said checking her out. From the look on Nora's face I bet she was not expecting to see Tiana. Mom and I stood and mopped at them. I was like what the heck!.

  "Hey you!I thought you died,where have you been and you lived you never bothered to look for me or link me"

    Nora said making a mean face at Tiana and I chuckled, typical of Nora to be dramatic.

    Nora pulled away from their embrace and sat down and Tiana did too,mom and I also moved to the couch and sat too. It seems we are invincible to both of them.

    "I am sorry darling,I never died. I had to flew from  the South because Xexes was  after my life and I could not let that happen. I needed to be around when the warrior princess will be reborn and you know if I died there was no way I will come back to life so the best I could do at that time was to secure my life with every breath of mine"

    She said and Nora smiled.

" It's okay,but you should have let me know. I was so damn sad when I came to your coven and I did not find you,there was no way to trace you to the ancient house so I thought you died because you could not bare fact that we lost the queen,we all know how important the queen was to you and you losing her was a big hit to you"

    Nora said,mom and I exchanged looks. I felt weird being discussed in my presence without contributing a thing or being acknowledged. They discussed as if it's only two of them in the living room. Nora made mention of ancient house and I made mental note of it, I will ask them when they finally recognize that they are not alone. But at the moment let me go and see to the food I am preparing,by now the sauce will be ready. Thank goodness I lowered the heat on the sauce and put off the burner that the pot of the rice was on before rushing out of the kitchen.

     I left the living room and mom followed through,catch them later.

Nora's point of view.....

    I was so surprised when I came here and saw Tiana, the last person I expected to see. We thought she died with the princess.

    I bugged her with questions,I want to know what has been going on in her life all these years. Tiana was someone very important to me and she was  better part of me. Apart from her being Gina's guardian witch,she was my best friend. We have history together.

    Tiana  was  the elder sister of the supposed queen mother back in years which is now Gina's mom. I know how it was when they lost her,the parents died from heart break and ever since then I was more closer to her than a sister would be. We walked the dark days together and when Nature bestowed upon her the role of being the princess' guardian witch when the princess was born,I was so happy because it was a compensation for losing her sister and in my widest dream,I would not have thought that her younger sister will be reborn to birth Gina.

     The point is does Gina know about this?
