Chapter 178 For the Sake of Love

     "Okay Sharon,but why did you disappeared when you know that Kurin would died from your absence in his life?"

     I asked,I wanted to know why she took that risky.

    "After I was cursed,I was told I have to leave Kurin and you guys because I was not longer part of the family. My staying with Kurin would end his life thereby aborting  the prophecy of the Queen's birth so I had to leave by all means."

   She said and I realized that what she did was to correct her mistake but things don't work that way,she should at least told someone we would have find a solution to bring her back to the family. The problem is she chose to listen to other people than her family,what happens to family comes first?

     "Do you know that because you left,Kurin and his mate, Maureen was murdered by Glamorous in her quest to avert the prophecy. The family bond was lost and she had the power to kill her own. You were also aware that her parents Karin and lily,died because of your carelessness too. If you had not broken the conduct of the family and left, everyone we lost might be alive by now. It's a shame Sharon that you are the grand mother of the queen but you never get to see her for one day. It's sadden, Sharon that you never thought with your heart before putting everyone at risk"

     I was pick pointing out her errors for her,I needed her to see all that her carelessness had caused because I am aware she does not know.

    She looked up with tears in her eyes and I could not hold my mean facade anymore. Back in time, Sharon and I were more than sisters. If anyone should understand her,it's should be me.

    I moved over to her and pulled her into a hug. She was reluctant at first but relaxed few minutes later.

    "It's damn painful Sharon,I felt like I failed as a sister,I should have understand what you were going through at that time. I am sorry,my negligence contributed to your fallout"

I said while stroking her back,she sniffed and pulled away from the hug.

    "You don't have to take the blame Nora,I felt no one will understand me. I should be the one who should be saying sorry,what I did almost caused the people their liberator and I am not fit to ask for forgiveness but I hope that I am forgiven by Mom and Dad also for Kurin and Karin to forgive me."

   She said. She was crying and my heart kept pricking. Why do have we to be careless in life,why do we have to make mistakes?. All these for the sake of love. I get confused sometimes on what love really stand for,I can't seem to tell,it's behind human comprehension and witches understanding,hope that one day I will be able to understand love at all.

   "It's going to be fine,we will find away to bring you back into the family and maybe reunite you with your granddaughter. I forgave you Long time ago,you should have confided in me"

    I said and smiled at her,I wiped the traces of tears in her eyes and pinched her cheeks making her to smile.

    "That's right,smile because I can tell that it's been long you had a smile on your face"

Saying that made her smiles to widen. It's would have been great if everyone is here but no matter what,what has happened has happened,it is what it is.

     "Sharon, you know for you to be able to be accepted back it will take a due process,rituals of cleansing has to be performed on you but before then,we have some people we need to visit and we have to do that as soon as possible."

    I said trying not to make her feel sad,we have a lot to do and I think my mate hunt will wait for a while, let's bring her back to the family,anything else will follow, Family First.

     She looked around,I used that opportunity to admired her,she never changed. She remains her old self and looking at her, you will see that Gina looked a lot more like her. I wondered why I never noticed this before. We had a lot going on and checking facial resemblance was the least of them. I wonder how the queen is going to take this?,I never brought up Sharon's identity to her thinking Sharon is long gone not knowing that she will one day come back.
