Chapter 179 Blessing in Disguise

     A lot has happened since the last time, definitely there will be a lot of catching to do. Sharon the big sis of mine.

    "So tell what happened while you were away"

   I asked,I really want to know all that had happened to her all these years.

   " A lot Nora,I could say that what happened to me was a blessing in disguise because after I left South,I managed to find my self here in Beverly. It was not easy trying to adapt to the culture and modernity, it was a whole new world for me. South was way back in time and I found it difficult to even speak English fluently"

   "Really!how come you found yourself here"

I asked with growing interest in my eyes, nothing can pass me by. A lot must have happened. She sighed and looked at me.

    "I don't know,I just found myself here and it's never easy. I knew I had to be careful because the aura surrounding the people were different from the people of South,years later I found out that I was among the human. I did all sort of things to survive,sis it was not easy at all.

     From years to years I was the same as I was when I left South and for that reason,I had move from time to time in other not to arose suspicions.

     Though I never felt Kurin within me,I felt lost and I yearned to be with my child day and night, I leaving Kurin was the best punishment ever and I never stopped for one day to ask why because I deserve everything that was meted out to me."

     She was beginning to get teary and I felt how hard it must have been for her,if you want to degrade a witch, deny her access to her child. I felt giving her a listening ear not to interrupt her until she finished.

    "But then lucky shine on me the day I helped an old lady with a load she had with her to her house,I had moved into Rellys newly. I was getting to know the place,so I had decided to go for a sight seeing when I stumbled into her. That was about 30 years ago. 

     When we got to her house,her grandson came visiting and he met me. We clicked instantly but I did not want to rush things with him. I had to trade carefully for he is a human. I did not know how it happened but I found myself being with a child after three weeks of being in a relationship with him. I was so scared,I did not know what to do. I thought of running away but running away from problems don't always solve them.

    One evening I summoned courage and told him. He was so happy but I had a mix feeling about it,how was he going to take it if he finds out that I am witch"

   At this junction she stopped and stared at me,I gestured for her to continue and she nodded.

     "He was so happy and was ready to marry me but I was not all that giddy,his granny was so happy when she heard the news. While everyone was happy about the pregnancy,I was in constant fears of the unknown. I did not have the courage to tell Frank that I am a witch but somehow he found out"

She said and paused.

   How did he find out?.

I asked.

    "The day I was making a potion for a healthy baby,I was so sick and I needed to make that potion for me to get better. Modern medicine does not work on me, so I had restored to making the potion when he walked in unannounced. He never told me he was coming. I did not know what to do or how to start lying.

    He nonchalantly came to me and pecked me on the cheek,he peeped into the pot and asked me what the potion was all about. I could not bring myself to answer,I was surprised that he had a knowledge about potions.

     When I did not answer him,he chuckled and pinched my cheeks then walked of the kitchen,I made to follow him but decided to finish up with the potion if not,it will lose it potency.

    I get done with the potion and walked out to meet him watching TV looking so relax,I did not know why he is calm because I know that humans don't rapport with witches. I walked over to him and sat down.
