Chapter 174 Nosey Humans

    I opened my eyes and stared at the frame photo on the wall,a photo of me I made last year.

    I just had another nightmare and it's confusing. I am trying to wrap my hands on it. The last time was clearer. 

    Why can't he show his face to me and why did he walk away from me like that. How in the world I am going to find someone that I don't know how he looks like?. How is this my fault,life is blaming me and he is blaming me too,I thought he is supposed to fight for me and show me the way,even if he wants me to find him,he should at least show his face to me. 

     He claimed I kept running away but it looks like he is the one who is running away.

    I having a nap was to escape reality but reality kept following me to where ever I go. Maybe I should take a walk since it's not nightfall yet.

     I pick my purse and went inside my bedroom  to shower and have a changer of clothes.

   Few minutes I walked out of my apartment with my ear pod. I was all dressed in a black leggings and cardigan.

    It's been long I went on a walk like this,I hope I get what I am looking for. I waved at everyone that waved at me and smiled at the kids playing around in the neighborhood.

   I live in one of the friendly neighborhood in Beverly and I never for one day think I will be leaving  this place. I have always wanted to stay back after the war not even knowing how it will be possible,thank heavens that Gina made a way for me to be able to come back to Beverly. I wondered how I would have been coping in the South with the country's backwardness in time.

     "Nora!"

I heard my name being called from behind me,I turned to see loveth walking towards me. It's been long I saw this lady last,it's been over three weeks. Menh!she is so nosey,I don't like to see her at all. Don't get me wrong,I don't have what it takes to hate her but she gets on my nerves. 

    I hope she is not here to ask silly questions because the mood I am now,I could give her anything she ask for,she should just be careful because girls are not smiling.

   "Hi loveth"

I said when she got to me and faked a smile.

"Hey,how are you doing?. It's been long I saw you last and I thought maybe you are sick,are you okay?."

    She asked. She has this annoying tone. You will think she is asking because she cares,no way,she just wants to Snoop around.

   "Thanks loveth,I am doing great and I am not sick"

I said and made to continue with my walk.

    "Don't tell me that!"

She said rolling her eyes,

    "You are not well and it's written all over your face and you want to deceive me."

I was like what the heck?. Does she want to force "I am not fine on me" or is she praying for me not to be fine?. Why are humans like this. So she gets to be happy if I tell her that I am not okay and start weeping here and she would pull me to her and tell me it's going to be okay. What a joke?.

   " Well I said I am fine,I am definitely fine. No two ways about it or do you want me not to be fine, loveth?

I asked with a raised brows.

   "No,don't get me wrong. Everyone could see that you are not fine and I was trying to see if I can help you since I know that you are not fine and you as well, know that you are not fine"

   She said still maintaining her stand of me not being fine. Why are people problematic?.

    "Okay,let assume that I am not okay,how do you plan to help me"

I asked and she mopped at me. I was expecting her to tell me how she could help me but instead she stood there with mouth agap staring at me. I shook my head and chuckled.

    "Hope to see you next time Loveth"

in my mind,

"hope not to see you again,you are annoying"

"Bye"

I said and walked away. Humans can be pest in all around. If you have this kind of person as a next door neighbor,you name is sorry.
