Chapter 190 Family is Family

Nora's point of view...

   We got back at the family house and the next on the list is the reconnection of the family bond. I can't believe that we have to gotten to this level.

   I went inside in search of the men's piece of cloth. After each died and I was the only one left here,I made sure to put every of their clothes in Dad's room. And in that way,the clothes will not be tampered with. Sometimes I do come here to go through their clothes,it brings me closer to them.

    So I was heading straight to Dad's room. His room is by far end of the sit out. I only had a room with Sharon,Karin has his own all by himself because he was the son of the family. It's not that I could not just have my own room if I wanted to but because the bond I had  with Sharon was stronger,I had to share a room with her yet after she moved her with her mate I lived in the room alone.

    I found Dad's room and I opened the door and went in. The room remain as it was the day I left. What magic can't do. South will never lose it's essence as long as it remains magically and I pray it remains magically forever. We don't want the curse of time destroying it's nature.

    I went in and found the box in the wardrobe, Dad's big box that I got for them. That's my first gift to my parents and that's more reason I have to pack all their clothes inside.

   I brought the box outside  and start to search through the clothes in the box. I pick Dad's cloth,Kurin and Karin and left the room.

    Since I have gathered all that is needed for the ritual all we need to do is proceed with the ritual.

   I place the colored candles round and got a cup from the kitchen together with a knife and a match box.

    I lit the candles and sliced my left palm open and let my blood pour inside the cup. When I have had enough blood inside cup,I tore a piece of cloth and tied my palm with it. I passed the cup to Sharon and she did the same thing. When she was done she passed the cup to me and I dropped it on the floor and sat down. I urge Sharon to do same and she did.

    We had to sit in the middle with the lit candles around us,she sat facing me. There was an incense pot by my left hand side,all I have to do is stretch my hand and it will be in my hand. I brought it and lit fire on it and picked Karin's cloth together with Kurin's own and began to burn it with a little of our mixed blood dropping on it while I muttered the reconnection spell. 

    When their clothes burnt to ashes,I brought Dad's own and repeated the process not without adding blood to it. I felt myself burning and looked over to see Sharon shaking and I know the reconnection of bond is taking place. The last piece of Dad's cloth went up in flame and I poured the remaining blood inside the pot and picked a red candle that is not lit and melted it inside.

    I grabbed Sharon's sliced palm  on my own sliced palm and place both palms on the burning mixture,the blood,the clothes and the candle. I continued to mutter the reconnection bond while Sharon shakes as hell. I was feeling the impact of her blood matching with mine and every bitterness that I had for her left me and I felt free. It was like she never offended anyone. 

     That moment I realized she is family again and I could not help but to smile. The last flame went off and I released her palm to see it all healed up same with mine too.

    'Welcome back to the family sis"

I said and she smiled. I stood up and pulled her up with me.

    "Thanks sis,you made this possible and I am grateful"

  She said and smiled widely. That's the smile I have been waiting to see on her face and she eventually smiled for me.

   "I am more grateful sis to have you back,I am not going to be a lonely bitch anymore because I have got you."

   I felt my love for her increasing,it's could only mean one thing. She is fully back. Family is family and no matter how one errs,we close eyes and forgive then forget. 

    That's one thing that differentiate humans from the witches,witches forgives their own easily but the humans don't easily forgive. I have lived with the humans for a long time to know that their ways are complicated.

    I hugged her so tight and inhaled in her fragrance,old time.

   "We have a lot of time to catch but right now let's go see your granddaughter"

I said and pulled apart.
