Chapter 233 Mate Or No Mate

Nora's point of view....

   I came out fully dressed to see Gina and Xylie laughing at what Xylie said. I love these two so much and I pray to have them both being in good terms with each other. 

   Before stepping out of the room,I had checked to see what I look look like and damn,I look stunning. I don't even know it's my birthday that I am going to celebrate or another and do witches celebrate birthdays,yes they do but not all of them. Some have live to the extent they don't remember their birthdays.

    After putting on my dress, I had worn a black cover heels to match with my dress together with a black purse with a touch of red. My look today was made for a day like this.

    I was given two days to look for my mate. The first day,I made not effort and the second day I am abandoning it to go celebrate my sis son,is that not unseriousness?. I forgot there is something like that,it's the next phase of my life after today. But why do I have this feeling that something is going to happen today and it will change the cause of things.

   I did not fail to pick the card that Sharon left with me yesterday.

   "What have I missed, both of you?"

I asked and both of them turned towards me. I saw the looked of wow in Gina's eyes and Xylie has a look of appreciation.

  "You look great Nora but wait,are you the celebrant?"

She asked,trust Gina. Things like this will never escape her notice.

   "Oh my!"

I exclaimed,

"I don't even know myself"

I said laughing.

"Well you look lavishing,I hope you are not going there to overthrone the celebrant besides, you rock in that outfit."

Xylie said and I chuckled.

   I really did not take notice of what he was putting on the first time I saw him. He looked like a prince out of  the blues. He was putting on a two buttons royal blue suit with white shirt inner. He had on him a white canvas with a white tie to match and a golden wrist watch. Compare his outfit to mine,there nothing to write about mine. Mine outfit was moderate compare to his.

   "Don't you both think you are overdressed?"

   Gina asked with a straight face and I could agree less but mine is moderate enough but Xylie's is not to be talk about. I don't know but I feel we are okay.

   "Let's just forget about who is overtaking and focus on the journey ahead. I am sure Sharon will be expecting us by now"

I said and the both agreed with me. The good thing is Mr Smith lent us her car so we would not have to take a cab. That's so thoughtful of her. 

   "I am sorry guys that I did not not offer water to you guys"

I said feeling bad. Gina looked at me as if I have gone mad while Xylie has an amused look on his face.

   "Who cares about water anyway?"

He said and looked at his watch indicating that we should go.

   "Exactly, I thought the same thing too. I don't need water, Xylie does not need water so there is no need for you to worry about that. I think it's time we leave here"

   Gina said with a straight face. I sighed and unlock the door,Gina walked passed followed by Xylie and let myself out of the apartment not without checking if I am forgetting something or leaving anything out of place. I locked the door and walked to the blue Range Rover sport,Gina was sitted at back while Xylie has taken the driver's side. I thought of joining him in the front but decided to join Gina at the back. I walked in and settled comfortably and urged Xylie to move the vehicle after I gave him Sharon's home address.

   I relaxed back and inhaled. I felt Gina's hands on top of mine,I flicked my eyes open to see her looking at me.

   "Nora I have watched you closely since I came,is there something up?"

Gina asked worriedly. I don't know if it's best I let her know but won't she criticize me?.

   "I saw my mate yesterday and he gave me two days to find him or remain mateless forever"

I told her and she stared at me shocked.

    "Wait a second,like your mate came to your dream and gave you two days to find him or stay without him forever,why?"

She asked,

"I thought he is the one who is to find you not the other way round?"

   "I thought same too  but it's not so in my case,he claimed that it's my fault he has not found me. The way it is now,I am remaining mateless forever. I have suffered  and I don't want to dwell on whatever that is not forthcoming. So after today I am starting a new life"

She pulled me into hugs and rocked me forth and back.

   "I am with you every step of the way,we have got you baby girl,mate or no mate"
