Chapter 238 The world Of The Ruling Class

   There was no need for all these troubles racking my brain thinking of how to get to Sharon when I could have just linked her up in my mind. Gina stared at me and chuckled.

   "You are a dumbass,so you could use a mind link and you are here wasting my previous time huh?"

I rolled myself and shook my head, she read my mind, for crying out loud. For the sake of friendship and queenship,I will pardon her.

"We are both dumbasses because you were supposed to tell me that because you have an idea of it"

 I said with no care in the world.

    "Well, now that you have figured out, please link her up to come and get me,my baby is tired"

She said dramatically and I had to laugh out loud which drew the attention of people. I stiffed my laugh and pretended not to know why all eyes were on us.

   I used the little break to link Sharon and she got my link ASAP,she apologized for not linking up to me first. I cut the link and I looked ahead to see her coming through in the crowd,she was dressed in a royal blue strapless dinner gown with detachment around the waist. The light illuminates her skin which makes it paler. The dress was perfectly made for her,I will argue with my breath about that.

    I know that beauty runs in the family but tonight,Sharon is looking more beautiful. I wondered if she is the celebrant or her son is. She smiled and to me,it was the best smile so far.

    She got to us and enveloped Gina and I into a heartwarming hug. I felt her happiness.

   She pulled away and stared at Gina then stared at her before she kissed her forehead and hugged her again.

   "My baby"

She said with a joyful heart. Despite the slow music playing in the background,the people stopped to stare at us and murmurs began to go round.

   Humans will continue to be humans,they have started their little gossip. I rolled my eyes and forced my attention back to Sharon and Gina.

    "Hello grandmother,you look great this evening"

Gina complimented her and she smiled,

    "Hi pumpkin,you look great yourself. I see Chris is taking good care of you"

   She turned and looked at me.

 "And Nora,you sure know how to keep to the ceremony"

She said and I rolled my eyes. It was her duty to tell me that it was a birthday party combined with a ball party.

  "You did well by not mentioning the kind of party you invited me to. Thank goodness I followed my instincts."

   "I trust you too, lil sis,where is my beloved nephew"

"Someone stole him for a while. I am sure is fine wherever he is. So where is the celebrant and when is the party official starting"

  I could not wait to see her son. I can't wait to see his reactions when he eventually sees me. Gina was eager,too. 

    "Well let's get you guys out of here, hopefully we will come back to get Xylie later"

She said and led the way. We passed through the crowd and came out in another hall and we continued to walk through the wall. The walls were decorated with white all through and to me that's strange. I am beginning to feel that there is more to this mansion. On a normal occasion,there is more to it for the fact that the owner of the mansion is from the lineage of the first order of witches but he is now a human or is there more that I have to know.

    I sighed trying to gather myself together,it just had to be done step by step. One thing at a time.

  I will get to know my nephew and the family and later and all I need to know I will get the answer from Sharon.

  While I was lost in my world of possibility, Sharon and Gina were having a mother to daughter moment. They look good together,they will be friends for a long while. Sharon said something that made Gina smile and I smiled not even knowing why she was smiling. Her smile is contagious.

   After all the walking we did,we finally arrived at our destination. Sharon led us into a very big well furnished sitting room. The sitting room is twice my apartment.

     Well it's a mansion so I should not expect less,to think that money was used here, is okay because the decor is top notch.

    You see this kind of thing in the home of ruling class,well what am I saying when these people are from lineage of riches. They could afford to do anything or have anything.

  Getting surprised now should be an old story because from what I have seen so far,I should expect something like this.
