Chapter 244 Going In Circles

 This simply means I have found my mate after some many years but I was far from being happy. I was still bittered that I was played like this.

   "But why did he keeping saying that I was the reason he never find me?"

   "It's because of the bracelet, the bracelet was supposed to be with you at all times to enable him to find you. I know it's not your fault that the bracelet was lost and he had no one to blame but because Lady D kept manipulating him"

 Mentioning lady Gina got me standing.

   "What do you mean she kept manipulating him?"

I asked, almost raising my voice.

    "My dear you don't need to worry about lady G because she does not know you but will soon know when you meet with Ben and that's when war will break out. She knows that Benjamin will find you no matter what so she restored to feeding him stories in his dreams and that's why each time he visits you in your dreams he blames you. You are lucky that you found him today. If not, like he said,you both would have become mateless after today and that is exactly what Lady D wants but unfortunately for her you found him."

   I would not say I am not scared, I have heard a lot about witches who hunt down other witches to satisfy their selfish needs. Don't be surprised that Lady D is closer to Ben for her to be able to manipulate him but who is she?

   And this mate meeting stuff that comes with forces chasing you from here and there. Life is just a problem on its own. There's no way you would live without a problem. Being mateless was one hell of experience and now that fate smiles on me by giving me a chance to experience happiness, another problem is looming behind.

    "So now what"

I asked 

    "Well nothing,just connect the mate bond then you would know how to take it from there. One thing you should bear in mind is that no matter what, victory is always yours. You have gone through a lot my child and so does your mate so you both deserve happiness. We are not leaving you behind to tackle lady D. She offended the people of the South a long time ago and it is time to send her to great behind. She will surely pay for her sins."

   I looked at her face which was filled with anger obviously for Lady D. Anyone in her shoes will be so angry. Knowing so well that she had something to do with my past life which I am sure mom and dad are not aware of. She had to continue tempering with my destiny. 

    "So grand mom,we all believed that Effrous got reborn and Ben's father if I am not mistaken is from his lineage"

   "No my child, the child that was born a few years after the death of Effrous was never Effrous and that's why Benjamin has to get reborn here. The child was just another child,let's say Effrous brother,it was never Effrous. The real Effrous is Benjamin. I hope you are clear now. And why Benjamin was not aware about all this,is because he was meant to find out on the night of his thirtieth birthday and I believed he got a vision last night. With the much I have said,I am sure you understood everything now and your questions have been answered. You need to go home now"

    She smiled at me after saying all that. Well for the first time in years I got answers to my questions. I am grateful so without wasting my time,I thank her and promise to get to her if there is a need to. She pinched my cheeks and blessed me.

    "Go and don't ever take the bracelet off your wrist. You are protected."

   She said and I found myself back in the bathroom where Ben took me to. By now the heat had stopped and I looked around to find that it was just me. I looked down at my dress and saw that it's a mess.  

   I don't even know how to face Ben knowing full well that we could have gone past this level if not that I was too blind to see that he was the one. But do I blame myself,it was not my fault neither is his fault. I would not blame any of us. I am most grateful that I found him if not life would have been unbearable after today. 

    With the itchy and the sweating,I decided to run a bath for myself. Funny how it is, coming here I never thought I would find something like this. The person I had looked for for a long time was closer than I thought.

    This is called going in circles, searching for what is right under our nose.

   I stripped off my clothes and went into the bath to have my bath. With a feeling of fulfillment,I found myself smiling to myself. I deserve all the happiness life could offer.
