Chapter 226 The Heart Want What It Wants

     But the thing is that I don't even know how to go about finding my mate in two days. I am clueless,I was sighing non-stop without realizing that I am off my drive way.

   I can't possibly walk home because my apartment is about 50 miles from here so there was a need for me to stop and hail down a cab.

   I remembered Mr Frank and I smiled,he got the confidence to think that since he likes me,that his son will like me too. I wondered what his son looks like,well I will find out if I ever honour his offer.

   A cab came by and I boarded the cab,it's time to go home. I gave the cab guy my address and he drove off.

   I had promised Sharon a visit and Xylie has promised to go with me. I don't know if I should go see her tomorrow in that way I might see something that will lead me to my mate. I need to be out of my comfort zone so what I going to do is to go out tomorrow, anywhere. I don't know how but instead of me to sit at home doing nothing complaining why I have to go find him it's better I go out even if it's for going out sake.

       "Ma'am we are here"

I heard the cab guy said and I had to look to see that indeed we are in my driveway but how?. It's not been long I boarded the cab or so lost and did not realize that time has gone so fast.

    "Thanks"

I said and got down.

    I paid my fares and he drove away

I sighed and walked over to my driveway. I unlocked my door and walked in,when I stepped in I locked the door and walked straight to couch and flipped myself down.

   I am so tired and words can't describe how tired I am at the moment.

   "Someone went out yesterday and did not care to return"

  I heard and looked up to see Sharon smiling down at me. She was putting on light blue jeans and cream top with her hair tie up. She looked elegant and all full of smiles and by her statement,she has been here before.

    "Sis, you are here?"

I asked and sat up..

   "Yes,I came yesterday and waited but you never returned,I was calmed because I know you could take care of you so there was no need to get worried."

She said and sat down.

   "Sorry,I went out for a dinner date"

I replied and closed my eyes.

   "Dinner date with who?"

She said with excitement written clearly in her voice. I know she will think I went out to dinner with some guy and she can't wait to hear it, well sorry I have to disappoint her.

   "Mr Smith invited me over and treated me to a dinner"

I replied and she sighed.

   "I thought maybe some guy took you out"

She said and I smiled. I thought as much.

   " Hello Sharon,I am supposed to do that with my mate and not with any other guy"

 "Alright I get,I am sorry I assumed. I came to invite you to my place tomorrow. My son is turning thirty and I thought it wise you should come. I know you are not ready to meet with my family but tomorrow will be best time for you to come,please don't say no."

   I could not believe my eyes,her son is turning thirty and she is here looking twenty five. 

   "Really,I am definitely coming"

I said with a big smile on my face. She rolled her eyes and laughed.

   "It's no big deal,it's definitely means that I am getting old. Marrying a human has a huge disadvantage. It means that someday I will die but my case is somehow different because Frank is from lineage of witches so we might not get old now but getting old is definitely for both of us,it is a must for us. Well I don't regret that,I still do what witches do only that I have limited time to live."

    She said, laughing,I was expecting her to be all mood but reverse is the case. It's like she is happy talking about it. Then it's should not be new to me, people go out of their ways to love someone. That's clearly what love can done. It will not care who it's getting in love with, it's just about the heart wanting what it wants.

      "I am happy for you Sharon, I am so glad that after all that happened,Nature compensated you well by giving you a man who loves you. You deserve the best"

   She smiled her thanks and stood up

"Here is my home address,find you there tomorrow. I am expecting you and everyone else."

  I collected the card and smiled,

    "Don't worry I will not fail you."

I said and stood up as well,she walked to the door and I raised a brow.

  " Don't look at me like that,I want to take a cab."

She said and I formed my mouth like "O". She is not disappearing today?.

   "Don't be silly Nora,come and open the door for me"

    "Alright"

I walked to the door and unlocked it for her to leave and I locked it back after she has left.
