Chapter 225 Mateless Forever

      She pulled away and starting pacing around with her right hand on her jaw and left hand crossed under her breast supporting her right hand. She was a clear picture of someone in deep thought. I chuckled within me,I asked her simple questions and here she is pacing around making it looks like it's questions she needs to think before giving the answers.

   "Well without wasting your time, South is in a great shape. The people can't be happier and for first time in two hundred years,they are happy to hear the news of their prince on his way. The same happiness they had when xaxes was about to be born is radiating all over them. 

    The queen is not allowed to even feed herself all in the name she is carrying the future lord of the South and trust people Gina has be more grumpy than ever. All she does is complain of how they are not giving her space to be Gina.

    There is nothing anyone can do about that, even Chris can't help her at this point. The only thing he does is to be the one attending to her every needs since Gina did not want anyone around and that has been working fine.

   As for me I am planning on coming back to South after the bath of the prince so for now I am waiting for my godson to be born"

She explained and asked,

"Hope I answered all your questions now"

   "Yes you did,thanks Tiana. I miss my friend and I can't help but to feel sad."

   I said pouting  my lips

"Am sorry dear,we all miss her but it's for the betterment of everyone. So tell me what have you been up to"

"Well, nothing special. I am been here working and trying to see if my mate will find me. I met Sharon after hundred and half years,I reconnected her back into the family. As of yesterday,I went to visit Mrs Smith and Xylie and they are in good shape. Normal things for me"

   I replied and stood up to go keep the painting,if care is not taken,it will have scratch and I can't blame anyone for it.

   "Nora, I am so happy that your sis is back now. At least you will not be that lonely again. I know you Nora to be jovial and energetic but with what I am seeing of you now? You are letting everything to weigh you down. I know I don't know how it feels but all of us love you so much and we want you to be happy, please stop being hard on yourself, alright"

   This journey of finding my mate will have been a living hell if I did not have these guys in my life. They have been awesome, giving me reasons to forge ahead,reasons I need to stay in good shape and in good frame of mind. I am so damned grateful for having them in my life.

    "Tiana thanks so much,I promise I am going to work on my mood. I don't see why I have to kill myself over this mate issue. It's not like I have not lived for years without him. If it's like I can't find him then it's all good. I did not lose in anyway."

  I said and walked back to my desk. She smiled at me and I smiled back. I got this after all.

   "Alright,I need to go now. See you soon,I love you"

She hugged me and kissed my cheeks.

  "Thanks baby girl,see you soon"

I said and kissed her own cheeks and she left. I sighed and relaxed back on my seat. It's time to work. I have spent better part of the morning exchanging pleasantries. The only thing now is for me to finish up the frame work and let her to come grab it.

    I switched my system on and the same time switched my working mode on. It's working time. I waited for the system to booted and swing into work.

.....16:00

   I stood up to stretch myself,I have been working my ass off since morning and I have not even had anything tangible to eat only the coffee that I took in the morning. I was able to finish the picture frame and Rosie has been here in the afternoon to collect it. She tried apologizing to me but I told her that it's of no use because it was even off my mind so no need for the apology.

   I checked my time, it was 16:00 and I had to scream. How time flies?. I think I am done for the day's work,I can't kill myself with work.

I shut down the system and picked my bag. I am going straight home,I have not been home since yesterday afternoon and I am sure it misses me.

  I picked my hand bag and stood up, check around to see if I am leaving anything behind and there was none.

   I stepped out of the office not knowing when I will be back again. First day of my mate hunt and I had it working all day,I laughed at myself. It sure looks I am going to be mateless forever.
