Chapter 224 Tiana, The Troublesome Bitch

     I stood at my driveway for close to five minutes with my eyes blinking constantly. 

  What just happened,is he trying to play love match here?. What makes him think that his son will like me or I will like his son. Fathers but wait,wonders will never cease to end.

    This could happen to witches but human no, unless he is from a witch clan,like his fathers were witches more like he have a witch blood and a human blood or that he is pure human only that he would have been a witch if only one of his fathers did not marry a human.

   I shook my head and put the card inside my side zip and walked to my office door. I checked my wrist watch to see that it was a 8:10. I was actually ten minutes late. 

    I sooth for my keys and opened the door and went in.

   "Taaadaa!"

I jumped with my heart beating so loud, to see Tiana laughing her heart out. Menh,she got me. I glared at her and walked over  to my desk to sit down. I needed to calm my pounding heart before I could talk to her. Looks like she wants to send me to my grave. Who scares people like that.

    "Nora,you a witch for crying out loud. You are not supposed to be scared."

She said after she was done laughing. I rolled my eyes and hissed.

   "Fuck off Tiana,don't ever try that with me. Living with humans has limited me a lot and you know it. Sometimes I feel like a normal human and I can't blame myself for it. I can't use my powers and I can't practice magic all because I live here and you feel I should be hundred percent witch."

     My heart was calm at this juncture but it does not mean that I have forgiven her.

  "Alright sorry,I thought of visiting my best friend who did not asked after me when she visited South"

    She said and stuck her tongue at me. That alone wanted to make me laugh but I held it. She needs to say sorry not alright. I threw my face way.

  "Common Nora don't be like  that, alright I am sorry"

She said.

   "Fine,so what are you doing here?"

    It's not like I was angry but she is fond of doing things like this. Someone with heart disease might easily die from a play like this.

    "I came to see my best friend who is not happy to see me"

  She whined. This friend of mine sure knows how to play a mind game. She wants to play the victim.

    "Well do you also know that this friend of yours has been doing stuff that did not give her time lately"

I asked too. Two can always play this mind game.

    "Yeah I know,Gina mentioned about your sister and thats why I came but it seems you are in a bad mood. I will just go and come back when you think is good time for you"

   I spinned around and faced her.

   "Tiana, I don't know you to be like this. Okay,I am sorry too. Been having bad day lately. I miss my friend."

    I pulled her into a hug and she laughed. 

"I know I wanted to see if you will let me go,I know you don't have that kind of heart. I miss you too"

She pulled away and start walking around office.

  "You have got a nice place here and I like it"

She said, gushing on how wonderful the place looks. I actually did not see the beauty of the place. I heard here gasped and I turned to see her examining painting of Gina and Chris

   She delicately picked it and brought it over to my desk.

   "You did not also tell me you can paint. This is beautiful, Nora when are you going to do a painting of me?."

   I did not utter a word,I was just looking at her blabbing about this and that and why I should make a painting of her and when I will do that. I know I am tired but Tiana here made me more tired.

    She stopped talking when she saw me staring at her with a straight face.

    "Nora, are you okay?"

She asked and pulled my chin up.

    "I am Tiana,just tired and all that. You look good,no doubt about that."

   "You don't look okay to me but just try to be fine."

She said and kissed my forehead.

   That simple act brought back life in me. It simply means she care only that she could not stop being Tiana. She is a troublesome bitch.

    "Thanks Tiana"

I said cheering up

"So tell me how things are over in the South and what is Popping at the moment"
