Chapter 223 A white Man In A Red Sport Car

       I walked out on her with my head held high. It's too early to have her spoil my day. Sometimes I am immune to what people say,I wish I could be like this all the time and I will not have had any problem in my life.

   I keep saying that humans are foolish. How can you come out on a beautiful morning like this to attack an innocent soul  because of a guy. That shows her height of foolishness. I hissed and shook my head,if only she knows that he is my ex then she would not have made mouth.

   A cab came and waves it down. Let me go finish the bitch's work and let her off my hook. I don't mingle with people who thinks highly of themselves.

   Immediately I settled down,the cab guy drove off. I was about to relax when I realized that it was not a cab. The same red sport car that brought me home the other day. I looked up to see the guy looking at me through his rear mirror. 

   He is a man of average age with a spotless face. He is handsome and have the look of someone I have seen before. For him to pick me up twice,it means he has been trailing on me but why?.

   I had many thoughts running through my mind and I did not want to dwell on any of them. I tried calming down,after all he does not give the vibe of someone dangerous.

   "Hi Mister, please who are you. If I am not mistaken,you have given be a ride twice. Who are you please?"

He smiled and looked away.

   "I am surprised you remember. Well I am just a guy who happens to pass your way. The first time I saw you at you driveway,I went to visit a friend and today,I am going home after my morning sport, I saw you again. I just feel like taking you to where you are going. I don't know but it feels like I am drawn to you"

   He explained with ease. I checked his clothing to see that he is on a white top and white shirt with white canvas and white socks. He looked all whitish. The only different is just the color of his skin. A white man in a red sport car.

   I looked around to see that the car has this familiar scent. I don't but I feel like I have been in this car before. Why would this guy have a sense of familiarity with his car. Where have I met him,or could he be the man From my dream but then Mr Faceless is a witch and this guy here is not witch.

   I will just have time to find out. I don't seems to have problems with his explanation but I feel what he said is not entirely true. If how he explained is how it is then he should not have collected my fare.

"Alright Mister,thanks for the kind gesture"

I said and relaxed. Hope he is just going to drop me at work and that will be only. I can't remember the last time someone gave me a lift,it just have to be one person and that person is Benjamin.

   Maybe I will think of getting a car for myself since I have the money now but what if my mate takes my back to South. It will be waste of resources. So I will just hold on for now,it's actually the reason I have not gotten a car for myself and besides I don't fancy all that life of luxury. It itchy me a lot when I think about it.

   "There is no need for the Mister,I am Franklin by name but you can call me Frank if you wish to"

He said and gave me a polite smile.

   "Oh!that's nice,you actually share a name with my sister's husband. I am Nora, pleasure meeting you Sir"

    "The pleasure is mine. I bet your sis hubby will be handsome because all the Franks I know are handsome"

He said laughing and I smiled,he is the jovial type.

"Sure he is"

I responded. We continued to chat until he pulled at my office driveway. I thank him and made to get down but he held me and I looked up at him. I was wondering what happened.

   "Relax,I mean no harm. When I saw you yesterday I liked you instantly and that's why I am going to invite you to my place. I would like you to meet my son"

He said. I was shock not because he invited me but because he wants me to meet his son. Like he has a son at his age.

  "Don't be surprised,I am quite old you know. So let me give you my card. Give me a call anytime you want and I will come pick you up"

He said and stretched a business card towards me. I was reluctant to collect it from him,he shoved it into my hands and smiled.

    "I don't bite,have a nice day"

I did not say a word,I got down and he drove off.
