Chapter 266 The Lady From Great Beyond
In order not to keep arguing with her,I decided to change the topic but that moment, Tiana the guardian witch came into the lounge and literally jumped on me. I was caught off guard, I was not expecting her to do that.
She did that not mind Gina and Chris,when she was done jumping on me,she pulled away and sat beside me.
"Hi everyone,what did I miss?"
She asked giggling which got me thinking and I could say I was the only one who was confused, Gina and Chris were just staring at both of us.
"Why are you guys looking at me like that?"
She questioned with a creased brows and I shook my head.
"We are wondering why you have got all giddy"
I replied.
"Nothing just happy to see you, at least I will have someone who will go round the country with me"
She responded and I looked at Gina who in turn, looked at Chris. She stood up and pulled Chris up with her.
"Well Xylie, since you have got a companion, Chris and I would leave you both now. Feel at home and if you choose to stay at the mansion. You know where you have your room and if you choose to go home,you can go with Tiana. I am sure she will happily escort you. I need to rest now,I had a stressful day yesterday"
She said and they left leaving me more confused. Why did they leave after Tiana came to the lounge?
Tiana waved them goodbye and faced me.
"I don't know why you are confused but you and I know that I will be of help to you while you are here. Don't you think so?"
She said and winked at me. I was trying to place the lady here,to me it's not Tiana I used to know and to say I was right was damned good because right before my eyes she changed. I gasped and looked at her, how did she do that because I know there are a lot of forces guiding the mansion which means no evil will be able to penetrate but then,I don't think she is evil.
It's no other person than the lady I met at Ben's party, Rory. She is from the south and I am not aware and I am sure Gina knows who she is because if it's the main Tiana,she would not have left like that.
"I don't get you,who are you in the first place and why do you have to bear another face when you come Into the lounge?."
I asked her
"I have been here since last night,I have got a special gift of bearing any face I want and Gina knows about it. And for who I am?"
She said and tapped on her cheeks in thinking motion.
"I am Rory like I said to you yesterday and let say I am the lady from great beyond. Life there is boring and I decided to take a quick leave with the help of Gina the witch princess. We know ourselves way back when she was the first warrior queen together with Glamorous and so for old time sake,she decided to help me by opening the Portal for me. I hope I have answered your question."
She said and smiled at me.
If what she said is true, does it mean Gina was aware of her coming to Beverly and why would she open the portal for her. Opening the portal by the witch princess is risky,it means anyone can pass.
"I know you are worried about the portal but not to worry,it was closed back so there is no need to worry your pretty head off"
She said and ruffled my hair and I was taken back. She has got guts.
"So you are telling me that you will live here for the period you are going to stay here?"
I asked and she nodded her head in affirmative.
"So what now?"
I asked further
"Nothing,I am here it see more about life and probably have a chance at love which you my prince charming might help me with"
Mehn! When I met her yesterday,she was so calm and collected but now, she is the opposite of what she was yesterday. A thought came into my head and I smiled.
"Will you go back to Beverly with me, mom would not mind?"
I said smirking,her reaction was something else. She jumped on me and kissed my cheeks then my lips then withdrew herself from me and started jumping around like a happy teenager. I was astonished by her behaviour.
I should have known better,I was trying to scare her by telling her that without knowing I was doing her a favour. I hope I am not getting myself into trouble?.
