Chapter 265 How Time Flies

  Xylie's point of view….

   I am not only here to see Gina, I came to have a word with my father and mother. I really want to talk to them.

   I was warmly welcomed and I must say I am impressed. The last time I was here was a hundred years back when I used to sneak in here to check on Gina. When I found out she was brought to the palace to fulfill her mission, I had no option to constantly check on her.

    I was so mad when I heard about her death. But I could only stay on a low key to finish my own mission which took me a hundred years to do.

   "Damnit, how time flies?"

I thought to myself and chuckled, I am not expecting things to be the way they were before. I know south lacks behind but things changed, and I believe I will see more of the changes when I tour round.

   I felt the seater and sank back to it, it has a similar look to our own back in days when I was enjoying the sweet feeling of having parents. 

    Glamorous had me where it pained me the most but I am glad she is where she can't be reached again and if she dares get reborn, I swear I will kill her all-over again. Well I am sure she is not planning to because I am waiting for her. She will have to feel the pains I felt for years.

  I looked around and thought what could have kept lil sis from coming to see me. It's been a while since I have been here or is she caught up in something?.

  " Look who came to see me?"

I looked up to see Gina together with Chris, they were smiling at me and I returned the gesture.

   "Hi to you both. His lord and her Lord decided to keep me waiting?" 

  I said playfully and by the way they looked at each, I figured out they were doing something which means one thing,I hope you are not waiting for me to say that one thing. Well I mind my business so I don't poke my nose, get that.

   "Yeah, sorry"

  Gina said and sat across from me with Chris. I observed Chris to see that he kept his stares on Gina and smiled to myself. I love the connection between the two. I hope to find someone who will connect with me the way they are both connecting.

  " So big bro what brought you here and how are the people from Beverly doing?"

She asked which drew my attention to her.

  " Sure I came home and for the people at Beverly, they were fine when I left them. Nora sends her regards"

   I replied and at the mention of Nora, she beamed.

   "It's good that she remember to send her regards,I am surprised she did not forget"

She said smirking and I could not help but to notice again that Chris stares has not left Gina. He was fully watching her like a show with immense attention. 

    "Of Course she will not forget. If I am not mistaken,she is your best friend and you both have been there for each other so chill baby sister"

I replied and decided to draw Chris' attention a little.

   "So Chris, how has it been with you and the south? You know,being away from civilization because of duties you have got to perform."

 I said, he smiled but still had his focus on Gina.

   "It's great, having Gina here is everything. I can take whatever as far as she is here with me. Gina is my civilization"

  He replied and I marvelled at how he is having his attentions on me yet still focussing on Gina.

  "That's great, I hope to find my own civilization"

I said and Gina smiled then squeezed his hands.

  "Thanks baby, you are my civilization too. I can't imagine a life without you."

She said and return her focus on me,

   "You Xylie, you will definitely find your civilization. It's my prayer though. So what can you take?"

   She asked, I thought she was never going to ask.

   "Nothing,I am content with seeing you. It gives me joy to know that you are happy and that's all that matters. I plan to go home and see Mom and Dad. I don't know if you care to go with me"

   My ears were open waiting for her answers. I hope she says no because I can't bear to have her tag along, she is trouble. I was asking for formality sake

  She smirked and glared at me.

   "Xylie be careful with me, I heard that"

She said and I knew at once she had caught me. That's invading one's right, she has no right to hear my thoughts.

   In as much I am sorry for thinking that about her I was never sorry.

   "And you failed to realise that you need to apologise to me for reading my thoughts without my consent."

I said with a slight frown.

   "I know what you are trying to do but not to worry, since you are not sorry I am not sorry too"

She said and Chris chuckled which brought a smile to my face. You will never win an argument with Gina which I know.
