Chapter 298 What Love Made me Do

Ben's point of view…..

Have been here for thirty minutes and Nora is not back yet.

"Maybe she decided to talk a bath"

I said and stood up. I should join her anyway.

   I was halfway to the room when my heart skipped. I don't know but I felt pain from my neck and I realized at once that Nora is in danger. I rushed inside the bedroom and found her not there which means she is in the bathroom.

   In a flash, I opened the bathroom to behold my world dropping to the floor. I guess she was trying to come out of the bathtub and if I don't do something, she is getting a serious injury. 

    "Nora" 

I called her and rushed forward, scooped and almost dropped her because of how hot she is. A meal can actually be prepared with the kind of heat that is emanating from her body.

   She held onto me and whimpered.

"Ben it's hurts"

She cried out.

"I understand baby, I have gotcha you."

I said, trying to soothe her pains away.

   She was naked,so I pulled my shirt off and made her wear it then carried her out of the bathroom.

   Jeff had occupied the whole bed by how he laid on it. 

   I don't think I was planning to lie Nora there, who knows if he is a bad sleeper.

    I would have taken a shower but Nora needs me the most. I looked around and found an extra duvet and picked it up while still having her in my arms and headed straight to the living room. I constantly checked on her to see how she was doing but each time she shut her eyes tight and whimpered. This is exactly what happened to her yesterday and I hope it's not as painful as it is yesterday.

   I got to the living room and dropped her gently on the couch and spread the duvet on the floor. I carried her and laid her down, and she opened her eyes instantly, I was taken back the way her eye color was. It was not purplish, it had turned to dark red.

    "Nora"

I called softly.

    "Yes"

The answer was as quick as the "yes". She was looking different and I did not want to believe that the heat had anything to do with this.

 "Bite me, can you?"

She said, more like a command. I know better not to give in because I know she is not really herself. There was a force pulling me to do that which she asked me but I resisted.

   My demon being in check, helped. I don't have to bite here until I understand if what is happening to her is normal. Must have the same urges as her but no, I don't feel like biting her and that's okay. I would not force it.

   "Come here"

I said and she blinked and when she opened her eyes. It was all gone,her pupil was back to normal and I sighed. All it took was for me to give a command.

   She came closer and put her head on my chest.

 "The pain is fading away"

She whispered and I nodded my head.

   "Sorry darling, it should and you know why, it's because you are a strong woman."

  She smiled for the first in a few minutes, this is more like her. I am glad that whatever was holding her is leaving here gradually but I need to do something soon.

   That nightmare I had was not just a nightmare, it was a sign that Nora and I are not safe knowing full well the history behind our story. I don't think we are free yet until we are free.

    She pulled me closer and brushed her mouth against mine.

She looked at me after and smiled.

  "Can you cuddle me to sleep"

She requested.

   She was still on my shirt and naked under, thinking about it got me hard on but I don't want to stress her after what happened not quite long ago.

  "As my Angel wishes,her wish is my command"

I said and she smiled happily.

  "We forgot the pillows"

She Said

"I realized that"

I replied,

   "Let's make use of the decor pillow"

I said and picked two, it would do.

We arranged ourselves on the duvet and proceeded to have a night, cuddling ourselves. The original plan for tonight was cancelled and not only tonight but today. 

   I was spooning her which gave me the access to inhale her hair, I love doing this and it calms my soul.

   "Good night baby girl"

"Good night baby boy"

Sleeping out for the first time in my life. Dad had not called as usual to check on me but I had sent a text to him telling him I won't be back home because it is what it is and from his attitude this morning he would know where I am. I am becoming bolder because of Nora, look at what love made me do.

  I chuckled to myself and closed my eyes. It was time to say goodbye to the day in order to welcome the new day.
