Chapter 322 The Game Changer

Writer's point of view......

    Lady D can't seem to get who the little boy she has seen with Nora and Ben since yesterday. She has monitored him after he caused a suspicious act. He seemed to nullify the heat on Nora somehow which calls for worries. She has come a long way to have her plan terminated by a little boy. The worst aspect is, he is air.

   She has been on crystal ball since morning and has watched him but he seems normal to her only that he is not normal. She tried a tracking spell on him but it came out negative which means he is no body or a witch. His identity gives her worries.

  She has been staring at a space for long now, she blinked and returned her focus to the crystal ball in front of her.

     The hut she was in was dimly lit. You can barely make out what things are inside but one thing for sure, things here smell evil like the occupant.

   She waved her hands and her accomplice appeared in a blink.

    "Were you able to find anything on your own concerning the boy?"

   "No, he is so invisible, you can't see him but that's not all, you can't find him beyond the physical which means he does not exist"

The lady responded. She was on a black hood that covered almost part of her face. Both she and lady D have no smile on their faces, they are mean creatures, so a smile is not expected of them.

   "I thought as much because I had been trying to see through him but he kept blocking my view. He is really powerful but can anyone be more powerful than the jungle witch? No one, let's just witch him closely"

Lady D said and the other lady bowed and disappeared.

   "I don't know who you are or what you represent but my plans can't be stopped. You lie if you are here to protect her."

   Lady D said to no one in particular, she made a turn but felt a presence. The presence manifested fully and Glamorous came in view.

   Lady D was shocked momentarily but masked her expression immediately.

  "I see the witch did not die after all"

Lady D smirked and Glamorous pulled her lips in a smile.

   "If I can manipulate Nature, I don't think there is nothing I can't do but my dear I would advise you to back off. I would not take it kindly with you if a strand of my Aunt's hair gets lost"

    Glamorous warns viciously and lady D smiled in mockery. Wonders, they say, would not cease to end. All of a sudden, Glamorous is being protective of her family members. Has she forgotten that she was betrayed by her very own and what is she even thinking when Glamorous is the greatest betrayal ever lived.

   "Are you threatening the great Jungle Witch? You forget that I have been before you"

   "No my dear. You are fighting a lost battle, you and I know that you have failed even before you begin."

   "Oh my dear, I am surprised you protect those who have hurt you. Don't you think it's best if we come together and fight this at once, it will be as easy as air."

   "You have got to deal with it, I don't mingle with losers"

Glamorous said and turned her back on Lady D

  "I thought to warn you, if no one stops you, I will, mark my words, I will."

   She said and vanished. Lady D thought for a while and shook her head. 

   She has got a bigger problem to tackle. It's no longer the little boy, it has to be Glamorous. Where the hell is she from and what is she that she had to cheat death. She was supposed to be dead, not living and disputing her plans. Lady thought she has got many enemies, which means she has to buckle up because as it is now, her mission is close to impossible.

The maid who has been taking Jeff around, said something and Jeff laughed, he did not laugh to what she said but to those ladies he thinks are nonentity. He can't believe how empty their brains are. Fighting a battle you know you will not win. Jeff knows that Glamorous is protecting Nora not because she loves her but because she has a role in which Nora will play in her destiny and if anything should happen to Nora, her plans will fail but Glamorous has failed to understand one thing, there is always someone who plays the game better than her and that person is the game changer himself.

    Since Glamorous has pledged to protect Nora, he has no problem again. She could do the outside work while he would do the inside work. At the end she will think she did it all by herself and that's what he wants her to think, to think she is still powerful. The whole drama is getting interesting and he can't wait to see it unfold. He is always a step ahead of them all.
