Chapter 321 Jeff Who Are You?

 " Ben you are here"

I heard mom's voice and turned to see her standing at the stairs looking at me. She diverted her attention to Jeff and look back at me again with questioning look.

   "Yes Mom"

"Who is this cutie?"

She said and made her way towards us.

   "His name is Jeff, Nora found him yesterday lost and we can't get to his parents and Nora has gone to see Gina for something. I am left with Jeff to search for his parents but that's mission close to impossible so I thought maybe you might help"

I said hoping that Jeff would not understand and sure he will not understand, he is just a little boy.

   "Wow cool, are you my new owner?"

Jeff asked excitedly and I huffed. I thought he said he knows I am not selling him?. Mom raised her brows and I chuckled.

   "I told him I was taking him to someone who needs an errand boy which he said I was not or rather if I do ,Nora will find him, imagine the audacity"

    Mom smiled at both of us and shook her head.

"Well I am not and you obviously knew he was joking when he said so."

   Jeff smiled dropped, I was confused. Why would he want to have an owner. Someone who should be bothered about getting home to his family. His weirdness is what I can't explain.

    "You being my owner means I am going to live here. Please be my owner"

He pleaded with his two hands put together. Mom squatted to his level and pinched his nose.

  "You are too cute. You should be worried about getting home not being sold off. Do you really understand what you just said huh, boy?"

    He stared directly at mom and smiled.

"Off couse, I know what it means. It means, I would got to have the mansion all to myself. Play and explore."

    It's obvious Jeff is a baby and he does not understand most of these things he does or say. He just do things for fun and you as an adult if you don't understand that he does not know what he is doing, you will end up getting yourself worked up. I should have realize this since.

  "Sorry little man but you will have to go home to your family"

Mom told him and stood upright

   "But for now, you can explore the mansion why I have a little chat with my son"

"Alright, so who is going to be my tour guide?"

"One of the maids around here,"

Mom said and pressed the call bell by the wall and one of the house maid appeared. Mom handed Jeff to her and instructed her on what to do and we left to her chamber.

    We got to her chamber and she closed the door behind.

 "So what do you want me to do about him, you want me to use trace spell on him."

   "Yes Mom, we need to get him home ASAP, his people should be worried."

   She nodded and closed her eyes, she opened it a moment later and stared at me.

    "There is nothing about him, his identity is blank"

Mom said and I became confused. What does she mean his identity is blank?.

   "Mom what do you mean by that"

I needed her to explain better.

  "I mean he has no identity which simply means has no family. If he is a witch or someone from the past, there will be a trace to him but he has no trace at all which is rare and I am confused on what he is or who he is"

   I was more than confused. I thought as much because the way Jeff behaves is extraordinary. If he has no trace then how do we go about it?.

  "Mom so what do you suggest we do?"

"I don't know. I don't think he is an enemy. As a matter of fact, he is a friend. I think we will wait and see who he is if he is kind of enough to reveal his identity."

    I sighed and sat down on one of the seaters in her Chambers. No wonder he was not in a hurry to go home to his family

       This is beyond comprehension, so this means he was sitting on that bonnet while I look for him.

    "Jeff, who are you and what's your mission here?"

I thought to myself. He seems to like Nora a lot which means he is here for Nora but why?.
