Chapter 359 I am The Best Nora....

   Loveth watched as the couple went inside and clenched her fist.

   "Imagine the audacity they exhibited, they ignored me totally. It's just few hours and you both will cease to exist."

She said and went inside.

    Glamorous chuckled to herself and disappeared. She has been on top the roof watching the girl apprentice.

   Glamorous knew Lady D and Loveth can't do anything even with ritual of death Lady D has performed. Glamorous was aware of the ritual Xylie had performed on behalf of Nora and she was rest assured that the battle tonight is a failed battle so no need for her to stress herself.

Nora's point of view......

    I was surprised Jeff is here and I was even more surprised when he offered to go to the party with us. Forget that Jeff is the mantle of coverage over Ben and I, he is a mysterious kid who would not only scatter the party tonight but will make it unbearable for the celebrant because I know he doesn't like Loveth.

   And Ben had to agreed with him. Well since we have known who he is, he might not misbehave because I don't have the strength for drama tonight.

  I got to my room and opened the door, the next thing I saw was Jeff racing to my bed. I did not know he followed me. He jumped on the bed and landed himself on it.

  I would have freaked out on normalcy but I had to remind myself that he is not human so he can't get injured.

  Ben walked into the room and glared at Jeff.

  "Jeff come down this minute"

He yelled and Jeff raised his brows at him.

 "Why should I?, It's not that I am doing something wrong."

 " Ben, you know Jeff so well unless you want to get headache, you can continue yelling."

I said coolly and walked to the bed.

   He sighed and came over to the bed.

"Alright since Jeff is here to keep you company. I need to be at somewhere"

He said and placed a soft kiss on my forehead and left.

  The moment he left, I saw Jeff peeping at me kinly and I could not get to understand why he had to look at me like that.

 "You look so worried and I know you should but don't be. If it's the Innocent lives that died today,you don't have to be guilty over it, it's not your fault neither is it Ben's fault. The witch just have to be foolish enough not to realize that she can never win the battle she is preparing."

"Jeff, I am just sick and tired of the whole thing, she has to be the reason I was in agony for years and now that I have found happiness, she is doing everything in her power to make sure I am not happy. I can't remember offending this woman yet she is bent on destroying me."

I said and he pinched my cheeks which put a smile on my face.

   "Life are like that sometimes, it's is the essence of life. In life, we will have people who would make sure that we are never happy while we will also have people who would do anything to make us happy. So my dear Nora, don't worry she would soon cease to exist, every battle must be won and this battle was won century ago."

  He said with smiles.

   If I don't know who he is I would have say he is an adult in a boy's body.

   "You are so kind and you talk like an adult"

He laughed so hard that I joined him.

"You are funny. Off course I am an adult, how soon you forgot who I am"

"I never said I forgot who you are. I just said your talk like an adult"

I said and stood up.

    "I know right, I am glad you are able to laugh"

He said and the next thing I heard gained a chuckle from me.

  "But auntie, I don't have what to wear for tonight"

He said like the Jeff we used to know.

   "Well I think I have got something for you, you left those clothes I bought for you behind so you would select the one that suits your taste and you will be good to go"

I said without sparing him a glance.

   "Well, that's so cool. Thanks so auntie, you are the best."

  "I know right"

I smiled,

"I am the best Nora that ever lived and I am super proud of myself"

I was happy that I was out of the mood I was earlier. I just have to prepare for the party while I wait for Ben to come back.
