    I took my coat and sighed. I was just coming back from Beverly. For the past eleven years, I have sneaked out to go see the girl that I sucked of the poison from her system.

  Being the Southern prince I am, a mate has been Destined for me and I understand how the witch things works and I can't even try to marry any if I want else my mate will die and that has been the reason I only go to see her without doing anything. I bet she doesn't even know me because, it's always my shadow that I present each time I am at the woods.

   I have grown to like her and that's just it. Besides in few days time I am getting married to Abigail and that's will be the end of my visit to the woods.

   I just wished she be could be invited to my marriage ritual but she is just a mere human and would have so many questions on why The South seems to be backward when the world is far ahead.

   I changed into something presentable and I was about leaving when mom came in.

    "Theo!"

She called me tenderly

"Yes Mom, what is the matter?"

I asked her because it's obvious there is problem by the way she is sounding. I love my mom and dad so much. These two had been be my shield and everything more.

     I can tell them anything and I will be sure to get a fair advice. Being the heir to his throne, he has often tell me that if there is a away for me to go into the world and live a life he would do it but South is my life and I actually understand that some things are beyond his power but nevertheless, I am make them proud because they have never disappointed me.

    "You know that in a few days time you are bringing Abigail home."

  "I know mom, you don't have to worry about it because I will do so."

"That's my boy. I will leave you now"

She said and left. 

    Suddenly I don't want to go out again so I sat back on my bed and looked around. There is more to my life that I can't tell.  More room is a typical example of a Southern prince. My dad's chamber looks less of mine and I had asked him severally why but he gave me no satisfying reason only that I am supposed to have things than him which to me is a lame excuse.

   Going airless with no one being aware except my family had made me to see more of the world. I had understand most of these things. How the human thinks and everything that associate with them.

    I felt a presence in my room and I looked around to see my very best friend, she is a female, don't  mistake me.

   Well she is my mom's guardian, Tiana.

      "Hello T ,  this one  you decided to visit me today,  hope I am safe?"

I jokingly asked and she frowned.

   "What do you mean? I come here everyday and you are saying this. It looks like you don't want me to come here for a day or more and you will understand what you statement means. Anyway, I am not cut out for your trash. I brought you Abigail's ring."

  She said handing me a wrapped box.

   I unveiled to to see a shining silver ring. It's not just a ring because I have perceived it. It's an ancient ring, one similar to the my mom's own. I guess it's a witch thing.

  "Alright thanks so much, I actually know what to do with this. Thanks for getting it to me.

I said and kept the box by my side.

   "I know what you have been doing for years but please don't make mistake of falling for a human because you have got a mate and witches don't joke with mate issues."

She said and I am not surprised that she knew.

   "Well, you should know me by now. If I actually want to do anything, I would have done it since but I understand that I have a mate and our destinies are tied together so don't worry, I am not doing anything."

I assured her and she smiled.

    "I trust you friend. I know what you can do but that lady is pretty. You have got eyes for good things"

She laughed after saying that. She is so funny. Here she was telling me not to do anything yet she is telling me how gorgeous the lady is. Who does that?
